The hotel is about 300 meters away from the subway terminal, but when I went to the subway station at 5 pm, I felt that there were few people inside and was a little scared. Opposite is Metro, but the front desk told me that I could not shop there without a membership card. I could only eat in the hotel restaurant, which tasted average but was quite expensive. I had to travel early the next day, and the hotel prepared breakfast bags, which were very good.

All in all, Sofia Novotel is a great choice for its location, comfort, and service, but fitness enthusiasts might find the gym facilities limited. I would definitely stay here again!

Superb location. In the city centre. Historical palace. Modern interior designs of the rooms. Soft & fresh bed sheets/towels. Big rooms. Spotless clean. Great amenities with gym. Delicious with big variations of breakfast. Helpful and great staff. Fast check in & out. Walking distance to all landmarks of the capital. Public transportation is only 1-2 min walk. The only thing that miss were the absence of extra tooth paste and tooth brush. The rest were ok. Highly recommend. Definitely comeback here soon.
