Outstanding
GGuest UserI was very satisfied with the hotel I stayed at this time, booked through an online travel agency. The hotel package included one night's stay with two meals, and the meals were different each day. The Kaiseki cuisine was so good and plentiful that I actually felt full after every meal. The open-air onsen overlooked the sea, and soaking in the hot spring while listening to the sound of waves crashing on the shore was incredibly relaxing.
AAdam_HKSARI chose to stay in this low-key hotel on the mountain in Atami City. Although I had to take a taxi to get in and out, I actually didn’t want to leave the hotel and my room after checking in. The scenery outside is very beautiful, there is a private onsen in the room, and the hotel services and facilities are impeccable. You can go to the lounge to have a drink, eat snacks and watch the sunset before dinner!
The hotel’s dinner serves Japanese food presented to guests in a French style. The menu can be fine-tuned according to each guest’s taste requirements and will be signed off by the responsible waiter for confirmation! With such serious service, you will definitely be satisfied with breakfast and dinner!
Three days and two nights accommodation, great value for money service and enjoyment!
GGuest UserEnvironment: First-class, sea view room, beautiful swimming pool, French food in the hotel, charge per person, children are included, nothing wrong except that it is a bit expensive
朱朱The hotel is on the hillside behind Atami Station. It takes about 8 minutes to walk. If there is no baggage, it is OK. If there is baggage, it is recommended to take TAXI at the entrance of JR station. The mountain road is steep and it will be very tired to walk. The fare is 710 yen for the starting fee. The hotel is a traditional Japanese-style hotel, very nice, Japanese-style rooms are also very large, the scenery is very good. The only downside is that it is located next to the JR station railway, and there will be sounds of train passing from time to time. Did not have to say breakfast and dinner, very delicate Japanese. The service staff is very warm and polite, the interior of the hotel is very clean, the shoes must be left in the lobby, the service staff will keep it in the concierge for you, and the slippers are all in and out. There are a lot of hot springs, and every day men and women soup will be exchanged, very good!
11391808****This hotel offers stunning hilltop views of the sea, especially beautiful at night. Make sure to take a taxi from the station, as there's a very steep hill to get there. The hotel service is excellent, and the place is clean and tidy. We booked a corner room with dual-aspect windows, and it even had a bathtub. Enjoying a drink on the balcony while admiring the night view was a highlight. There's also a fantastic teppanyaki restaurant at the foot of the hill (no English menu, though) that's delicious and reasonably priced.
パパロミThe views from this hotel are absolutely stunning. The front desk area and lounge are spacious, with large windows offering panoramic ocean views – truly spectacular.
The public bath facilities, including both indoor and semi-open-air baths, also boast magnificent views. Towels and amenities are provided.
The rooms are spacious, allowing for a comfortable and relaxing stay. While the hotel shows its age a bit, it's very clean. We had two large beds pushed together, which was perfect for our family of three to sleep comfortably. The front desk can arrange for bottle sterilizer sets and cribs upon request.
For meals, we had both dinner and breakfast from the buffet this time. There was a wide selection of dishes, and we were happy with the price.
Overall, I thought the service was good, but it didn't quite feel like great value for the price. This might be because our child is only 0 years old, so we couldn't fully enjoy all the activities. I imagine it would be a much better stay once our child is older and we can take full advantage of the activities.
CChuchuanchangIt only takes about 15 minutes to walk to the hotel from JR Atami Station. You can see the hotel when you go down the second step to the seaside road. The room is quite ordinary, but very clean. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry. It is recommended to book a room on the 2nd floor. The hot spring is also on the 2nd floor and the lobby is on the 3rd floor. Breakfast is Japanese style. It is recommended to book a room with breakfast. If you need dinner, it is recommended to go to the restaurant on the second floor around 19:00. Orders cannot be placed after 20:00. There is a Lawson supermarket about 150 meters away from the hotel. I personally feel that the food is not very rich.
You can see the sea from the room, and it only takes 30 minutes to walk along the seaside to Atami Port. From Atami Port, you can take a boat to Hatsushima. The one-way ticket is 2,800 yen. There is a road behind the beach, and across the road is Atami Ginza Street, which has many restaurants.
KKunduSouravThis is a traditional Japanese Ryokan style hotel. All instructions are in English however, means there are foreigners regularly staying here. There is a open air onsen (hot bath) which is very pleasant. Must be reserved in advance. Drinks can be bought at 200 yen a pop. This is a fully unmanned Ryokan meaning it self check in and self checkout ! The rooms are very small (4 meter square) which barely fits a bed. Pictures on the travel sites about the rooms in this hotel are deceiving ! The location is sort of OK from Kinomiya station but it's quite far from Atami city center and Atami sun beach . We took at taxi which was 1200 yen. Kinomiya Jinja is 25 minutes by foot.
