My family and I recently stayed at Crimson for a night, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. My daughter absolutely loved the place, and the only word she could repeatedly say was, “AMAZING.” The buffet breakfast was outstanding, especially the wide variety of options available for kids. It was thoughtful touches like these that made our stay even more enjoyable. The foam party at the infinity pool was also a big highlight and added so much fun and excitement for the children. What truly made our stay memorable was the hospitality of the staff. Everyone was incredibly accommodating, warm, and approachable throughout our visit. During checkout, a piece of luggage belonging to a guest from Room 619 was accidentally loaded into our car. As soon as we discovered it, we immediately contacted the concierge, and the taxi driver kindly returned it to the hotel right away. Overall, we had a truly wonderful and memorable stay at the resort. Thank you for the excellent service and experience — we would gladly return and highly recommend Crimson to others.

The room decor feels quite dated, with the bathroom and various furnishings showing their age and a slight musty smell. The air conditioning automatically turns off when the balcony door is opened. The external environment is relatively good, with a park and a beach available. The pool is also well-designed, helping to distribute people. There's a 'naughty bag' (play area) suitable for different age groups of children, which requires a fee, though hotel guests receive a discounted rate. Breakfast gets very crowded, so expect to queue. Overall, it's suitable for a family vacation. However, if you have high expectations for the accommodation experience, you might want to choose a newer hotel.

Despite it being the off-season in August, the check-in efficiency at the front desk was still terrible, especially having to queue up even after 6 PM. The hotel's location is quite remote; its only advantage is the quick 30-minute drive to the airport. The ocean water wasn't as beautiful as I imagined. The infinity pool design is decent, but it's a style that was popular a few years ago. Room maintenance is mediocre; the minibar light was broken and stayed on even when the door was closed. Although the curtains were overlapping, the installation was poor, making it impossible to fully close the overlapping section. The hotel, which opened three years ago, already has mold spots on the interior walls.

A wonderful hotel right by the sea. It's small, with only 8 rooms (if I remember correctly). All the rooms are large, clean, and beautiful. There's no TV, but that didn't bother us at all. They have their own reef where you can swim with turtles and various fish. They also organize transport with a driver for trips to see sharks and waterfalls. The hotel restaurant serves delicious food. We absolutely loved everything and didn't even leave the hotel. I highly recommend it to everyone!

HONEST EXPERIENCE and Please read for the CONS🧡 Bluewater Sumilon Island is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful resorts we’ve visited. The private island setting, surrounded by clear waters, creates a unique and relaxing experience. We also appreciated that the resort provides complimentary boat transfers for checked-in guests. The transfer was smooth, organized, and only took around 15 minutes. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with complete amenities and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Although our assigned room was quite far from the main areas, the resort’s shuttle service helped make transportation easier. The food exceeded our expectations. Both dinner and breakfast were served buffet-style, offering a wide variety of choices. Everything was well-prepared and enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the staff. The activity guides, lifeguards, restaurant staff, and service personnel were consistently warm, welcoming, and accommodating. They were approachable and attentive to our requests throughout our stay. We also had an unexpected medical situation involving one of our senior companions, and we were grateful that there was a nurse on duty. The assistance and care provided were professional and reassuring, especially since the incident happened in the evening. However, there were also areas that could be improved. Our experience with the reception staff was disappointing compared to the excellent service provided by the rest of the team. Communication felt rushed, and at times multiple guests were being addressed simultaneously, which came across as unprofessional and less welcoming. The resort shuttle service also seemed overwhelmed during peak hours. With many guests needing transportation around the island, waiting times became longer. Adding more service vehicles could significantly improve convenience, especially for seniors, children, and guests with mobility concerns. Our biggest concern was the lack of exclusivity despite the resort’s positioning as a premium private island destination. The resort accommodates a large number of day-tour guests who share many of the same facilities. As a result, areas such as the sandbar, swimming pools, and lounge spaces often felt crowded. There were times when finding available benches or fully enjoying the facilities became difficult because of the volume of day visitors. For a resort that markets itself as a luxury private island experience, this was quite disappointing. While we understand the value of day tours for the business, overnight guests paying premium rates should ideally enjoy a more exclusive experience and better access to resort facilities. Overall, Bluewater Sumilon Island offers stunning scenery, excellent food, comfortable accommodations, and outstanding service from most of its staff. However, improvements in guest exclusivity, transportation availability, and front desk service would greatly enhance the overall experience and better justify its premium pricing.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, it's located beside SM City Cebu, just a few minutes walking distance only. Hotel facilities are good and room is clean & tidy, hotel staffs are friendly too. Buffet breakfast & dinner have variety of choices, can't even decide what to eat first😆😆😆

Everything was good, a decent beach, well-maintained grounds, and friendly staff. I would have liked the breakfasts to be more interesting; it was a bit inconvenient that scrambled eggs had to be ordered and were brought to the table so late, usually after I had already finished eating. On our last day, they didn't bring them at all. I preferred the breakfasts at the neighboring Sheraton, where scrambled eggs were self-service. Nearby is the Pink Floyd cafe; I liked it, the food is tasty, and the prices are reasonable.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We always have such a wonderful experience staying here! ❤️ The resort is truly worth the price, especially for families with kids. There are so many amenities and activities that the kids really enjoy, making every stay fun and memorable. The staff are very accommodating, friendly, and welcoming to all guests. We also appreciate that the atmosphere is comfortable and not overly strict, so we can really relax and enjoy our time together as a family. The food is also delicious! 😋 Every time we stay here, we always leave happy and satisfied. This has become one of our favorite places to celebrate our kids’ birthdays and special occasions. 🎂🎉 That’s why we keep coming back! We spent a lovely family holiday at Solea Seaview Resort during the Chinese New Year break and had a really enjoyable stay. The staff were consistently helpful and welcoming. Our room was a good size, in reasonable condition, with clean bed linen and towels. The balcony offered a beautiful sea view, which we truly appreciated every day. Breakfast was also very nice, with a wide variety of food options to choose from. The absolute highlight for us was the number of swimming pools and the fantastic aquapark — free of charge for guests — plus a trampoline area for a small additional fee. The children absolutely loved it! The hotel also encourages guests to leave reviews, and as a lovely compliment, my son received free access to the children’s playroom — such a thoughtful touch. The beach is not the most Instagrammable, but the sea was perfectly fine for swimming practice. One small downside was that the gym operates only from 8am to 8pm, so late-night training isn’t possible if that’s your preference. Overall, a solid 4 out of 5 — good value for money and a great option for a family holiday.

This is my first time booking this hotel and I thought I will never have a chance to stay here. Before my wedding, I booked this hotel since it’s near the church location. We enjoyed the stay. It’s just that we did not get to enjoy the TV because YouTube or other apps won’t work. All throughout the stay we weren’t able to use the TV. Also I called the lobby 5x to ask for a replacement for the 2 mugs for coffee before someone actually gets there to replace it AT THE MORNING. Haven’t also had the time to enjoy pool because we check in late. But their service is good. The hotel is nice. I will surely book again if their TV is already fixed lol. Also two key cards for room and elevator is really hassle on our part. It should’ve been 1 key card, all access, 2pcs since we’re 2 adults. I really appreciate the hotel staff for catering my entourage, we were able to prepare before my wedding and took some pictures at the lobby and pool. Thank you!
