NNicoleenI had a fantastic time staying at The Reef Resort! The staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean and the resort have enough activities to keep you busy. I would definitely recommend this resort to family and friends. The breakfast buffet every morning was good with assorted choices. You can snorkel infront of the resort with so many different kind of fish, I was amazed! The resort even packed me a breakfast box when I had to leave early in the mornings for activities. They also have a great SPA with great treatments! A well equipped gym overlooking the ocean. Thank you for making my stay unforgettable!

MMeihuizzzzThe entire resort consists of 1-2 story buildings, giving it a real vacation vibe away from the bustling city. The staff were incredibly friendly throughout our stay. You do have to be patient with the slower service, like dishes being served, which is common in the Philippines, but then again, we were there to enjoy a 'slow-paced life.' If you want your room cleaned quickly, you'll need to call the front desk specifically, otherwise, it typically won't be done until after 3 PM.

GGuest UserWe absolutely loved it. North Mactan is all slums and poverty, but here we are on South Mactan, and an island to boot! We stayed here for three days with the family. Everything was great – the rooms, the service, the staff... We were absolutely thrilled. What we enjoyed most was renting a boat for 1000 pesos with a local guy, and he took us to the coral reefs every day where we snorkeled. That experience will last a lifetime. For anyone planning to visit Cebu: don't stay in the north, head south to Moalboal. This is where you'll find all the beauty and aesthetics of the Philippines. There's no need to stay in the city center – it's rundown, with kids swimming in a sea of trash... It's clean and beautiful here, and we're very happy.

BBradyBeeKandaya resort is definitely very beautiful and clean. It offers many activities from ARV, horseback rides, archery, island hopping and many more. The breakfast is delicious and has a variety of, especially Philippine cuisine. The kayaking was our personal favorite. It’s just a long drive away from Cebu city. However, should we find ourselves that side of the world again, we will choose this resort anytime. Lastly, the room was so stylish and modern..it was just amazing. Bed is super comfortable.

JJpg ZanoriaOur stay at Dusit Thani was overall pleasant. The rooms were comfortable, the property was well-maintained, and the general ambiance met our expectations for a relaxing stay.
However, the check-in experience was quite challenging. I was not physically present during check-in as my family arrived ahead of me. Despite sending an email and making a call to authorize them, the front desk did not allow my family to check in on my behalf. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and delay.
While I understand the importance of security, the process felt overly rigid and left me uncomfortable with the lack of flexibility and trust extended to guests, especially for pre-booked and confirmed reservations with clear communication.
For guests booking multiple rooms or arriving separately, I strongly recommend registering the actual guests who will be staying in each room in advance to avoid similar issues.
Overall, the stay itself was enjoyable, but I hope the hotel can improve its check-in procedures to be more guest-friendly while still maintaining security.

GGuest UserGreat hotel with a lovely beach, a nice bar, an excellent pool area, and very good food in the restaurant. The buffet breakfast is also excellent and caters well for all tastes.
The only areas for improvement would be introducing QR code ordering for refreshments on the beach, rather than having to look around for service staff, and improving the check in and check out process, as these areas were frequently crowded.
Overall, it was a great stay and I would be happy to return.
