The overall price of accommodation in Portugal is so expensive that I ended up booking a hotel that is also a hostel, even though I don't prefer it. The location was very good. There was a subway station right in front and many restaurants. The hotel is very close to the metro station, which is great. It's located right on Liberty Avenue, and the surrounding area is nice. The location was excellent, and the backyard area was wonderful—I met some very kind people there. However, when I entered the room, the smell was so strong it almost made me lose my sight. The beds were old and creaked with every movement. The person sleeping in the upper bunk sounded like he was drowning and was talking in his sleep, not to mention the other people snoring. It was only one night, and I will not repeat the experience at the same place again.
