I stayed one night here on my way from Paris to Interlaken. I booked it at the last minute, so I didn't have high expectations, but it turned out to be the best place to stay on my trip! First of all, everything was spotless, and there was nothing lacking. The room amenities were sufficient, and they even provided a water bottle, backpack, and umbrella for use during my stay. Breakfast was included free of charge, and there were about four kinds of cheese. It's close to Bern station, the area is safe, and all the reception staff were friendly and helpful, making for a very comfortable stay. If I ever come back to Bern, I will definitely choose this place again!

Location was great. The train station at your doorstep. Staff were helpful. I voiced my concern about heating and a light that was blinking and all concerns were addressed quickly. All in all, a great stay and staff were well trained and based on my conversations with them, they had been working there for a long time, hence the knowledge and level of service. One thing though, is that the lighting in the room could be improved; that would be really helpful for those coming on business trips and working on their laptops.

Let me start with the cons. 1. We booked two separate nights, and for the first night, they put us in a room on the basement level, which was on the same floor as the underground parking lot. The design was quite impractical: after opening the door, the bathroom was immediately to the left, and you had to walk down three or four steps to get to the bed. This was a bit dangerous for anyone needing to use the restroom in the middle of the night! For instance, my husband actually fell once when going to the bathroom at night! 2. The air conditioning wasn't cooling. After talking to the front desk, they said their system showed the AC was working. The two nights we stayed weren't extremely hot, but it was still hard for my son and husband to sleep comfortably. Now for the pros: 1. They offer free 24-hour milk and coffee. 2. The staff's service attitude is excellent. 3. The location is superb. 4. It offers great value for money.

I stayed here while attending a summer school at the University of Bern and found it to be a very good location, a nice walk through the city to get to the university, and right next to the river not far from an area where you can keep a towel then walk up river to jump in for a swim. The hostel breakfast was quite good and the mattress was very comfortable so that I slept quite well while here. My roommates were also academics here for a conference, so good roommates. The only complaint is that there were a lot of school groups or something, so lots of noisy, squeaky tweens running around.

About 10 minutes walk from the station, the hotel takes a full self-service form, they will enter the hotel password and room password one to two days early to send to the guests by email, and then the check-in process is all on their own. The room is clean and hygienic, the space is large, there is a small kitchen for cooking, and kitchenware is also provided. If you want to scale, the hotel's elevator space is very small, and only one person can be accommodated each time with a suitcase. In addition, the check out time is also very early. There is no luggage storage or breakfast.

Three-star hotel in a big city. The standard room is not big, the law is quite satisfactory, the decoration is aesthetic...but it is still comfortable and there is no smell in the room. Breakfast is OK, better than the Samsung hotel in the mountains, but in Switzerland, um, for the Chinese, it is OK. It is convenient to take public transportation to the clock tower in the city center by 2 stops. Confirm with the hotel in advance that you can book a paid parking space, about 16 Swiss francs a day. (I can't remember) Service attitude is very good.

Self-check-in. The receptionist was very nice. The single room was small, but fine for one person. Convenient location. About a 7-minute walk to the train station.

Room looks nice and clean. One intersting feature is the sliding door connecting the toilet and shower room, when one is closed the other is left open. Included basic amenities like towels and cups. Breakfast is normal. Location is good, just 5 minute bus ride from the train station. Staff is very friendly and offers kind assistance.
