Guest UserThe day after my child's high school entrance exam, I booked a trip to Yunnan and Guizhou. I stayed at Atour hotels throughout the journey, but for Huangguoshu, to avoid exhaustion, I decided against the Anshun Atour and opted for accommodation closer to the scenic area.
After comparing several guesthouses on Ctrip, I was particularly drawn to Jingmoxuan for its nine-grid breakfast, location, and decor. Its high rating on Ctrip sealed the deal, so I booked it well in advance.
Upon arrival, the guesthouse's private underground parking was incredibly convenient. The little pebbles and greenery by the room entrance were absolutely charming; it's clear the owner put a lot of thought into the decor. Stepping into the room, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was, exceeding my expectations for a guesthouse. Since I booked so early, the price was significantly better compared to last-minute bookings. The value for money was truly excellent!
If any of my friends or family plan to visit Huangguoshu, I would wholeheartedly recommend Jingmoxuan. Of course, to secure a good price, I'd suggest booking as soon as your travel plans are confirmed, haha.

Anonymous UserIt only takes two minutes from the visitor center to the B&B, which is so surprising. Looking at the pictures from the platform, it looks average. When I actually arrived at the store, I was shocked. The quality of all the items in the B&B exceeds the price. The lady boss is very nice and sweet-natured. She personally cooked a hot pot meal for us. It is highly recommended.

Comfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and modern. However, shower room tiling can be improve further for one of the family room toilet. But the other toilets in the other rooms are good.
The location is good, near the second entrance of Huang Guo Shu Waterfall which only opens for day trip. It has MacDonald & bubble tea shop nearby for comfort food. However, it is a 20 min walk from the main ticketing entrance for foreigners for day and evening tickets. Though it is quite a distance, but it is better than getting stuck in the heavy traffic during this peak season. Talking a stroll, passing by the restaurants are ok.
The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with one parcel collection from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. They also send our family out to the main road as our 9 seater big bus is not able to enter the small lane to the homestay. To walk to the main road, there is a staircase which is about 1 min walk up. Ok for young and young seniors, but may not be very suitable for very old people with walking difficulties.
Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

Guest UserThe hotel is within walking distance of the Huangguoshu Waterfall scenic area entrance. It's newly renovated and very clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The only downside is the terrible network signal; the hotel's Wi-Fi is practically useless, so I had to rely on my own data.

The hotel is relatively new, and the linens are of good quality and fresh. They were clean and odorless. The parking lot is huge, and the hotel offers a timely shuttle service to scenic spots for guests. The service was warm, polite, and courteous. The only downside is that the duvet was a bit thick; Southern tourists are used to thinner blankets. Breakfast was plentiful. The restaurant downstairs had good food.

Eva0723This trip to Huangguoshu Waterfall with my family was a complete success, and the hotel we stayed at far exceeded my expectations – I highly recommend it! The hotel's location is superb, just 1km from the scenic area, very convenient. The environment is tranquil and elegant, far from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are exceptionally spacious and airy, with no feeling of confinement, and excellent natural light and views. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, the mattress is just the right firmness, and there are even latex pillows (I forgot to ask the brand), but my neck felt very comfortable after one night's sleep. The biggest surprise was the smart home system throughout the room – voice control of the lights, curtains, and air conditioning was convenient and the kids found it novel and fun. The owner was also very hospitable; at lunchtime when we checked out, he even introduced us to local food, mentioning chickens raised for five or six years – they looked delicious!

Guest UserThe hotel is about a 5-minute drive from the ticket office of Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area; you can contact the owner for a pick-up and drop-off service. From the ticket office, you need to take the scenic area shuttle bus to the entrance, which takes about 20 minutes. Overall, the transportation is quite convenient, and there are many restaurants nearby. The hotel has complete facilities and excellent natural light. We booked a two-bedroom, two-bathroom sunny suite, which is perfect for friends or families traveling together, ensuring everyone has access to the bathroom. Overall, the hotel is quite good!

YikelizhidedubaiEvery time I travel with children, so I will be picky about the hotel or homestay. I specially chose this one close to the high-speed rail station. It is not expensive to sleep. It is super quiet and comfortable. The room is very soundproof, very quiet, the bed is soft and comfortable, the pillow is also two different types of choices, after a good night's sleep, the whole person feels rejuvenated. The sanitary environment is also clean, the service attitude is good, the room is also very well arranged, every place reveals the hotel's intentions and taste. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the toilet is also smart, a very cost-effective homestay, recommended! recommend!

Guest UserI forgot to take photos of the hotel. During our trip to Guizhou, we booked hotels in Guiyang, Huangguoshu Waterfall, Xiaoqikong, and Qianhu Miao Village. This hotel has the lowest rating among all the hotels and is relatively cheap, but! To my surprise, it is the best one among all the hotels!
The hotel in Guiyang is an ordinary business hotel. I regretted that I should have booked a hotel in the scenic area after booking the inn in Xiaoqikong. The inn in Qianhu Miao Village is known as a light luxury inn. The price is super expensive, but in fact, the facilities are very old. Half of the panoramic balcony is blocked by unfinished buildings, and you have to climb very high stairs to get up. I feel that the high ratings of the other hotels are all brushed by someone.
Huangguoshu Waterfall is different from Xiaoqikong. Several waterfalls are in different places and need to take a long viewing car to get there. There is no need to book a hotel in the scenic area. This hotel is very convenient to walk a distance to the entrance of the scenic area.
I read the comments before, saying that this hotel is relatively old, and I was very worried, but in fact, the hotel facilities are well maintained, the rooms are spacious, the windows are very large, and there is a mountain view outside. The air is fresh and very comfortable. The pillow was of moderate height and not too bulgy. It was the most comfortable pillow among all the hotels. This was also the best night’s sleep I had during my trip to Guizhou.

MeiyouniliangchenmeijinggengdaiherenStaying at Heyuan Hotel was a pleasant surprise! The accommodations felt on par with a 3 or 4-star hotel, but at a very affordable price. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and approachable, much like flight attendants. The location is excellent, right next to a tourist bus stop, yet it's wonderfully quiet at night. I read some reviews mentioning mosquitoes, but I didn't encounter a single one during my stay. I'd definitely recommend Heyuan Hotel to friends; its location right by the tourist bus pickup point at the Huangguoshu Scenic Area's Second Visitor Center makes it very easy to find.
