Beautiful hotel on a beautiful river. Large georgeous room. For Japanese standards the service was just ok. Much nicer greeting upon arrival. Was left to drag my suitcases out the door with a wonderful old lady trying to help me. Of course I could not allow her to lift the heavy bags. All the other people were not available to help or see me out. Extremely rude by Japanese standards. Coffee at breakfast I was told to get at the coffee machine. Substandard for the class of hotel.

During our 2 night-stay, the breakfasts N dinners were awesome, mouth watering & flavorful! Best meals on our 12-day trip in Japan. The shuttle bus service was a great help.
