Traveling solo, I splurged on a Japanese-style room that could probably fit four people. It's an older ryokan, but that didn't really detract from the experience. I was participating in the Kagaspa UTM race in Japan and booked this hotel. It's a ten-minute walk from the starting point and another ten minutes from Yamanakaza Street. Ctrip advertised free airport/train station pick-up, but after experiencing it myself, I realized it's a lie. First, there are time restrictions for pick-up; it has to be at the time shown in my photo. I only found out this after having the hotel call them the day before. Second, pick-up is not free; it costs 150 yen per person. It's not about the money, it's about the fact that it's not free. Ctrip shouldn't mislead people. That day, I had to take the bus myself, get off at the nearest stop to the hotel, and walk for about ten minutes. It was an extremely hot day, with a temperature of 39 degrees Celsius and the sun blazing.

The hotel is relatively remote and more suitable for self-driving tourists. My friends and I are not self-driving this time.
