The cheapest standard twin room was spacious and clean. There was no bathtub and the view was not so good, but there was a large window. There was no table, but there was a tatami bench with a small chabudai table. The amenities smelled nice and were comfortable to use. The ********* tea bags in the room were delicious. There was also a lounge on the top floor where you can get coffee and snacks, so I had takeout breakfast there.
It seems to be an old building that was renovated, so the sound of the chairs on the upper floors echoed quite a bit, but that was expected. It's a good idea to bring earplugs.
The location was close to the bus stop, and I could get to Tainan Station and Anping in one go. There was a 7-11 convenience store right in front of the hotel, and the surrounding area is a downtown area with quite a few restaurants and sweet shops.
Please note that the front desk is open from 7:00 to 23:00.
(The front door is auto-locked outside of these hours, but you can still enter and exit.)
Overall, it was a nice hotel that was conveniently located in a downtown area, but quiet and relaxing. I would like to use it again.
