The pros: 1) Great location - It’s near to Taipei Main Station but tucked ar a quieter corner, hence, not so noisy. 2) Free bottled drinks, delicious ice cream and coffee daily (exchange with coupons issued during check in) 3) Cozy F&B area to have your meals or simply chi out 4) A friendly and helpful staff Lisa, who had gone the extra mile by recommending places of interests and transport routes etc - Management should really show appreciation to this staff The cons: 1) Cleanliness needs big improvements - Partner was stung by mosquitoes for few nights 2) Poor bathroom design - The bathtub is too high, definitely not suitable for elderly travellers or people with lower limbs weakness; Bathroom floor easily flooded after using shower head as designer had not consider including space or some kind of features to drain the flowing water 3) Only one layer of curtain, no extra light blocking / privacy curtain. Privacy concerns

We had to change our plans last minute due to inclement weather and elderly unwell. However, despite cancelling on the morning of the first night, hotel refused to accommodate to cancellation when contacted by Trip. We tried calling the hotel all morning but could only get through in the afternoon. we also emailed them explaining our situation. Hotel staff refused to cancel our booking and we were charged for 4 nights even though we could not make it and informed that we were prepared to pay for 1 or 2 nights’ stay. There is also no reply via email from the hotel. Due to this unkind inflexibility, lack of empathy and service excellence, and difficulty to contact hotel, we are afraid to try this hotel the next time. Would like to commend Trip for their excellent service in rendering assistance to negotiate with the hotel and offer of a small amount of Trip credits.
