First time in Takayama and wanted to try staying in Ryohan style hotel; took about 6 mins walk from Takayama station to hotel; not obvious to find the main door; no lift but staff will carry the luggages to room for us; love the free breakfast and unlimited choice of tea to consume throughout the day; comfortable bed and clean room; impressed with 2 sinks and space there but the shower area is quite small

A very comfortable hotel, it is about a 10-minute walk to the old JR station, Takayama Old Street and Miyagawa Morning Market. I was very happy to be able to see the taro flowers in Miyagawa in late April.

The location is very good, 8 minutes walk from Nohi Bus Station. It is a five-minute walk from Takayama Jinya, Miyagawa Morning Market, and the ancient street. The multi-person room has two bunk beds, with a double bed underneath, enough for six people. The bathroom is completely separated into dry and wet areas, and the toilet is also a separate small room, which is very considerate. The only drawback is that the location of the power socket is very awkward, behind the ladder of the bunk beds, which makes charging very inconvenient. In addition, the hotel has no elevator, and the corridors and stairs are very narrow, so two people cannot pass at the same time. If you have large luggage, please pay attention. In short, this hotel is still worth recommending!

The location is convenient and it is not far to walk anywhere. The room facilities are good and the scenery is beautiful. There are many Westerners. Recommended to stay

The outside is not very impressive, but the inside is a different world. The bed is very big, which is very good for a hotel in Japan. Breakfast is a set meal that you can choose. I stayed for two days and both of the two I chose were delicious. They are more delicate, but also enough to fill you up. The private bath costs 2000 yen per person, and there are two pools to choose from. The preparation is quite good. One hour is enough, otherwise it is really too hot to bear. Overall it is very good and worth recommending.

Not recommended. The room is very small. You can't really take a hot spring bath. You have to pay for it. It's far from JR. The price/performance ratio is not good. It's not convenient to eat.

Small but exquisite, a connecting room for five people, with a tatami room on one side and a raised twin room on the other, both sides have separate bathrooms. It's a pity that the hot spring was not open. The breakfasts for the two days I stayed there were different, one day I had a sandwich salad and a blueberry milkshake, and the next day I had a croissant salad and a banana milkshake. It's about a ten-minute walk from JR Takayama Station and very close to Takayama Jinya in Takayama City. It was a great stay and I will come again next time!
