The hotel could be nice, but we stayed 2 days without water in the taps, washing with a bucket so-so, no air conditioning for 1 1/2 days and no TV channel. Meal supposedly prepared by the boss's wife. In fact, reheating in the microwave, exorbitant prices for food and drinks, whiskey cut with 80% water, even in the sixth grade, not even a little bam (disastrous New Year's Eve, meal reheated in the microwave with very little quantity, I asked for a steak and fries at the end, deplorable DJ who played his own Malagasy playlist without worrying for a single second about the customers present, the only thing consistent was the bill). In the evening depending on the mood of the boss's wife, you can eat or not!!! having to go out to get your food and Tamatave in the evening is absolutely not safe. But the worst is the attitude and behavior of the boss towards her staff. She makes her staff work 15 hours straight or even 48 hours on New Year's Eve, steals their tips and doesn't even feed them during their services, so they stay all day without eating anything or she makes them pay for the meal (a shame to Madagascar where all employers feed their employees) of course, it pays them a pittance hence a lot of turnover. But if you listen to her, it's Sister Teresa. Given how she rips off her customers, her absolutely overpriced prices, the way she manages her staff, La Maison is not intended to last, the place is very beautiful and pleasant, but wait for the change of owner which would be very soon (we had booked for 12 days and we left after 4, she had the nerve to ask me for compensation of 20,000 ariary per day for the remaining 8 days when we spent 2 days without water and without air conditioning and the entire stay without TV!!! it was received!!!) Beautiful place managed by an absolutely unqualified person and who is a very bad person in view of his attitude and his behavior towards employees who are adorable and kind. always ready to help you, I do not recommend this Hotel at all!!! not for the hotel but for Myriam its manager, in her defense, her husband the boss returned to France to be treated, with him everything worked well according to reports, this is absolutely no longer the case And above all, do not post negative comments, you will experience the wrath of the "boss" who will harass you and invent a life for you that you did not know about LOL

Very caring staff and boss. I was very well received. Spacious and very clean room. Silent air conditioning. Hot water, clean WC. Very good quality bedding. Available even late in the evening. What's to say, what explains my 4? Unfortunately, outside the period, catering is limited and breakfast is even more limited. But I am convinced that it will be upgraded. Overall very satisfied with my stay.
