"Was given top & bottom bunk for my friend & I. However, the room smell really musty from people drying their towels & clothes around the dormitory. As it was a mixed room, the other guest tend to stare at us. It made us feel very unsafe but nothing the front counter could do. You’re able to rent amenities such as loungewear, slippers & towels & etc from 50-150yen. Charging ports are given at the beds but it’s only USB-A head which made it hard for us cos ours were all USB-C. Room was also very messy as guest lay all their luggage lying around. Totally do not recommend staying unless you’re really tight on budget & don’t mind it. We checked out 10mins after checking in."

NnaivecloudOur stay in Tokyo at this hotel near Kinshicho was absolutely fantastic, and I cannot recommend it enough! The location is ideal – just a 10-minute walk to Kinshicho Station, which connects you so easily to the rest of the city. Around the station you can find everything you need: shops, restaurants, convenience stores, and even entertainment. It made exploring Tokyo simple, comfortable, and stress-free. But what impressed us most was the room itself. From the very first moment we walked in, everything felt clean, modern, and thoughtfully arranged. The design is simple yet elegant, with warm touches that make it feel like home. The apartment-style layout was incredibly practical – a spacious living area with a comfortable sofa and pillows, a large table perfect for working or enjoying a meal, and a bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep after busy days in the city. The curtains blocked out light perfectly, and the lighting in the room was cozy yet bright when needed. The kitchen was a wonderful surprise – fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and even an electric kettle. Having this option made our stay even more comfortable, whether we wanted a quick snack or a home-style breakfast before heading out. The bathroom facilities were also excellent. Everything was spotless, the shower and bath were modern and easy to use, and we especially appreciated having a washing machine – such a valuable convenience for a longer stay. The separate sink area with a wide mirror and good lighting was perfect for getting ready. Every detail of the room showed how much thought was put into the comfort of guests. It wasn’t just a place to sleep – it truly felt like our own Tokyo home. The atmosphere was peaceful, the furniture was comfortable, and the overall cleanliness and organization exceeded our expectations. Staying here made our Tokyo experience even more enjoyable. We always looked forward to returning to the room after exploring the city, knowing it would be a clean, calm, and welcoming space. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Tokyo, especially around Kinshicho, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Perfect location, wonderful facilities, and a beautiful, well-maintained room – it’s everything you could want for a comfortable and unforgettable stay.

MMiray ÖzI had a wonderful stay! On my last day, I met some amazing people, which made the experience even more special. Everything was spotlessly clean. On the top floor, there’s a cozy café area with unlimited tea and coffee, open to both hostel guests and café visitors. The space offers a stunning panoramic view of the city from both sides. The showers were excellent — you can choose from a variety of shampoos and conditioners, and there are plenty of hairdryers available. Lockers are located outside the sleeping area, so you don’t have to worry about making noise and disturbing others. I also found the elevator system quite unique: there were three elevators — one that served only the women’s floors (capsules, lockers, and bathrooms), another for the men’s floors, and just one that reached the ground level for entering or exiting the hostel. Overall, I would absolutely recommend staying here, and I’m sure I’ll choose it again for my next trip to Tokyo!

GGuest UserCheck in process was smooth, allowed early check in for a fee (if there is availability). Bed was clean. Female only levels were 6F and 7F. Was staying on 6F. Toilets on same floor 6F, but have to go to 7F for shower. Initially felt it was troublesome to wait for lift to go up to 7F to shower (only one lift for all floors), but got used to it. Hairdryers available on 6F. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided in the showers. Have 4 shower cubicles on 7F, but somehow throughout my stay, I didn’t have to wait whenever wanted to shower, there was always one cubicle available. Showers were generally kept clean as well by the guests. Overall pleasant experience staying, the few troublesome matters were having to take out shoes at entrance (change to indoor slippers), only one lift and the locker space is decent but can’t fit cabin luggage (have to remove my items in my cabin luggage to fit into locker, and luggage crowded the area)

GGuest Userit's inconvenient that the shower room is in the first floor and bathroom is on another floor. so if you wanna take a dump and shower at the same time you have to go to separate floors. i was assigned in the bunk bed, its so hard to climb because lf the ladder. although its really really clean, have spacious beds and lockers, as well as they provide towel unlike others.

AAnonymous UserStayed here for one night as an experiment and I actually liked it! The capsules are spacious and clean and I slept quite well. There is even a sleep quality analysis option which is an interesting experience. And the interior design is minimalistic and elegant However, the lockers are quite narrow and not suitable for large amounts of luggage (although there is an option to store it in a storage room). Shower was a tiny bit dirty but it was still adequate. The location is a bit inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage, you need to carry it uphill from the metro station (the neighbourhood is quiet and cozy though!). Overall, it's worth the price I still recommend it if you want to try something new

BBayusatriowIf you’re the kind of traveler who likes options, Hotel Plus Hostel Tokyo Asakusa 2 is a great pick. Whether you’re into minimalist capsule pods, classic dorm-style bunk beds, or want a private room with your own toilet, they have it all. I stayed in the capsule-style cabin, which felt spacious enough with its own curtain, light, and power outlet. But if you prefer more privacy, you can upgrade to a room with en-suite bathroom. This flexibility makes it perfect for solo travelers, couples, or small groups. 🚗 Getting There 3-minute walk from Asakusa Station Around 50–60 min from Narita or Haneda Airport by train or airport limousine bus Super strategic if you're planning to explore Tokyo from the east side. 🛒 What Makes It Convenient Capsule cabins, shared dorms, and private rooms (some with their own toilet and shower) Gender-separated public bath (onsen-style) – warm, clean, and relaxing after a long walk Shared shower & toilet facilities are clean and well-maintained You can send/receive Yamato (TA-Q-BIN) parcels from the front desk – super helpful for travelers with big luggage or belanjaan 🛏️ Facilities & Vibe Spacious capsule layout with good airflow, lockers for valuables Onsen bath open in the evening – best time to enjoy it is early morning (6–8 AM) or after 10 PM for quieter experience Lounge area with billiards, vending machines, shared kitchen, and laundry Cleanliness is top-notch; even shared areas feel fresh 🗺️ Nearby Attractions Senso‑ji Temple & Kaminarimon Gate – just a 5-min walk Tokyo Skytree – around 15 min by foot or 1 stop by train Sumida River – great for evening strolls Lots of convenience stores, street food, and shopping streets nearby (including Don Quijote & Asakusa Nishi-sando) ✨ Final Thoughts Whether you're a backpacker or a budget-conscious traveler wanting flexibility, this place covers your needs. The mix of capsule, shared, and private rooms gives you control over comfort and cost. It’s also ideal for those flying in or out of Tokyo — close to the airport lines and able to handle Yamato shipping. Pro Tips: Book early if you want the private room with toilet — they go fast Choose women-only or men-only dorms if you prefer a calmer vibe Take a soak in the onsen before bed — it’s the perfect way to wind down

WWeiHooI have tried a few capsule hotels, this is by far the worst. My capsule was on the fifth floor, but the lockers are located on the fourth floor which is very inconvenient since the shower is on the eighth floor. There is a sitting area outside the capsule room which is an unsightly mess as shown in the pictures. The mattress is hard and uncomfortable. What bothered me the most is the door that supposed to shun off the noise from outside, made a loud noise when it closes. I wonder if they are not aware of it or no one complains to them. Imagine how many people comes in and out the entire night and the cranky noise disturbed my sleep. I hope the management will be made known of this default. I will never come back again.

DDariaLocation and the host were totally good. Of course, capsule hotel has some inconveniences (you don't have enough space to store your stuff and you can only give it to the host on the 1st floor and they put it into a baggage room, also there is no ventilation in the capsules and in some of them there was too hot so the hot allowed my friend to change capsule). But the worst experience here was because of our capsule neighbour on the 3rd floor (so I can't blame the hotel) - she was obviously out of her mind, went to the toilet every 5 minutes and spent huge amount of toilet paper, so in a couple of hours she used up all the toilet paper on our floor. The host came and replaced the new paper - but in 2 hours it was the same way...
