Hotel Petit Bali Forest Shinjuku Sanchome

It is a LOVE HOTEL. People moving around and lots of stranger going in and out. The room is dirty with weird smell. The corridor was playing weird music and I can hear the sound inside the room. The wall is so thin and I can hearing the sound next door. The staffs are nice and they agree to change room for us. However, we didn’t feel safe and the room is not clean, we decide to move to another hotel. The location is nice and close to Shinsuku area.

Book this hotel, the amenities are unmatched At first I was hesitant to book this hotel since I was going to Japan for the first time and the theme was Bali but I am beyond thankful I decided to book it. This hotel by far had the most amenities of any hotel I stayed at in Japan, then entire time. They have everything you’ll need whether you’re staying one day or 10. The location is very accessible as well, there’s basically a subway station just steps from the hotel and there’s several convenience stores just feet away. Book tho hotel, it’s 100% worth the money and you won’t regret it

Charming but Small I really enjoyed the theming of the hotel. However, the room was very tiny - most of the floor was taken up by our suitcases. There was also some inappropriate content on the TV when we first entered, which was an unwelcome surprise. The location was great and I would stay in this area again.

When we looked at the online reviews of this property the pictures of the rooms were very misleading. Our room was dark and cramped with dust coating the blinds of the only window (which was covered by a TV). The air conditioner was loud during the night and the bed consisted of a thin mattress covered with a thin sheet of plastic and a small sheet with small pillows. Probably the most concerning factors were that the hotel gave a clear warning on the cleaning card about security not being guaranteed (the elevator does not require that you use a keycard to access your floor). Also, the price listed by ******* was considerably more than that listed at the hotel. Two prices were listed at the hotel; one for ‘stay’ and one for ‘rest’ which indicates that more than rest is offered by this hotel. The staff were pleasant at the front counter which was the only redeeming fact about the hotel. All in all we wouldn’t recommend the Petit Bali Forest to anyone visiting Tokyo.

The room is extremely small, I’m a medium person and the shower felt so tight. The room smelled like someone has just smoked there. I had to change the room at first because the toilet was dirty. The staff at least were nice. I would NOT stay here again.

We had a great time staying at this hotel. Although it is considered a love hotel, we felt it was safe and perfect for our purpose of traveling. There are lots of amenities including free water, alcohol, coffee, and cola. The area around the hotel is awesome…tons of dining options, close to trains and shopping, and a family mart across the street for anything else you may need. Especially at this price point, the hotel is perfect. We also used the private bath which was a relaxing experience.
