I was not fond of the stay in this hostel. what I did not like: the room was listed has having window but had none, it just has a corridor facing one in the upper part of the room to let the light in. also there's only one very strong light in the room, it's either that or darkness, the listing (again) even showed a light next to the bed I asked for it and was told there was none. being an hostel the bathroom area is shared and I was expecting something nice but alas, it was just a tiny bathroom and a tiny shower.
that said it was anyway a life saver because I couldn't find anything on a saturday night and it was priced lower than capsule hotel and such. it's basically outside the metro with signs that show you how to walk when you go out. the girl at the reception was nice and friendly.
so, it was not terrible but I think I'd look for something else next time.

Stayed for 3 nights, no cleaning, no changing towels
There is a coin-operated laundry, there is a restaurant nearby, the staff is very good.

It's a facility that's enough just to sleep, and it's refreshing to take a shower in the shower room. It's in front of Nakai Station and there's a convenience store nearby, so it's a great location. I went for a drink in Ikebukuro and went home.

The location is really close to Nakai Station, because it is right next to the station. Although it is listed as a "hotel", I feel like a hybrid version of a youth hostel + a B&B.
The sound insulation is very poor, no, it should be said that there is no sound insulation at all, because the air conditioner is shared (see the photo below for the situation). You need to pay attention to whether this meets your requirements.
The price is really cheap, but it is really not suitable for couples or families with children, because even small noises will affect nearby guests.
