We stayed here as a couple with a one year old, and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. We arrived after midnight due to delays at the airport and there was still someone waiting to check us in. Our stay fell during a sake festival, and we were invited to the after party which was an absolute blast. The cafe staff were lovely and professional and the coffees and breakfast were great. The hotel gave us a little bassinet, gave us extra rubbish bags and even changed our sheets an extra time when our 1 year old decided to knock a drink on the bed. The location was exceptional: beautiful quiet streets with cafes and lots to see, and easily accessible to nearby attractions and transport. There was a little park close by with a cafe that was a must for our toddler. The vibe was relaxed and fun the whole time and we would love to visit again.

The team were so friendly and welcoming. They also let us store our luggage before arriving which made our travel outside of Tokyo very easy. James on the front desk was super helpful, friendly and caring. As was the man on the desk (sorry can't remember his name) who booked our taxi at 6am and then came outside to check we were OK. The rooms are all individual. There is really interesting art around the hotel plus a bar and little chop where you can buy individual pieces. Great location. Rooms well equipped. Will spend more time when we next visit.

What an experience. Small rooms, as usual in Japan, but each room decorated differently. Part of the room payment goes to the artist and the staff explains the room to you and introduces information about the artist. Simple, but delicious breakfast. We would come back for sure.

This hotel is region Tablet and for us this has always been a quality reinsurance that we’ll enjoy it. But the hotel is located in a residential neighborhood and far away from the main areas that we wanted to visit. The staff is friendly but didn’t have enough knowledge about the area. The rooms that are designed individually by artists looked fun online but in real life looked unprofessional and childish. I guess that this hotel maybe fun for young people but I wouldn’t recommend it to families.

An eclectic hotel in downtown Tokyo. We stayed in two different rooms during two separate visits: Float and Dom. We thought that Float was a more interesting concept. There is not much space: the bed took up most of the space in both rooms. Room designs were creative and different from your usual hotel, which made it a fun place to spend time. The mural in the lobby is repainted by a different artist every three months. It was a little pricey when we stayed; if the price is right we would stay again.

These hotels are venues to return to, to discover something new and engage with creativity as a lifestyle. BnA redefines luxury, and places artists at the centre, both through the royalty concept and the design itself. Extraordinary! These amazing locations present the works of artists, embedded within the premises as exhibitions guests and visitors alike, can enjoy. It’s serving the community of artists too, not just guests. BnA’s generous motto: “stay in an art room, become a patron,” a portion of each reservation is given to the artist who designed the space. Unique and so avant-garde! The best in Japan!

My friends and I stayed in separate rooms for 5 nights. For two of us, it was our first time in Tokyo. We found the hotel through googling. I was fully prepared for check-in to be awkward or challenging, as I don’t speak Japanese. I was so thankful that the entire staff speaks excellent English! Every one of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We didn’t have a chance to try the bar, but the morning lattes are perfection. Honestly, better than a lot of the cafés in the area! The common area is well designed, spacious and clean. The rooms are impeccably clean. I stayed in The World After Five Minutes. The bed was SO comfortable! The shower was luxe. The toilet lived up to the hype! Although I know there were other people staying on my floor, I never heard them! It was always nice and quiet, as is the neighborhood. The only commotion was a pop-up food festival one day, but even that you couldn’t hear inside the hotel rooms (and I was on the second floor, so not high). I highly recommend this hotel for first time visitors to Tokyo!

This is a perfect place to stay when visiting Tokyo. It is close to several subway lines/stations, so easy to get to the various areas of Tokyo, but is a very peaceful quiet hotel so a welcome oasis when you return to sleep. It is very stylish and interesting in design and decor, the complete opposite of a sterile chain hotel. The rooms are well designed and spacious, very clean and well appointed, and very quiet and comfortable. The staff were hospitable and helpful. Highly recommended.
