The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The room and its furniture are all worn out.
It is nearly impossible to take a proper shower if you’re taller than 170 cm.
The housekeeping is the worst I have ever seen. They don’t wash the cups or make the bed properly. We even found long hairs on the bathroom walls and floor. We informed the reception in the morning, but there was still no proper cleaning afterward. We ended up collecting the hairs ourselves and throwing them away.
The breakfast is good, with enough variety. It would be even better if they included some cheese and local specialties. We stayed for 7 nights, and it became a bit boring since it was exactly the same every day.
The location is good. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the metro station, with 4–5 supermarkets nearby, and just a minute away from Senso-ji.

Great location near to Senso-ji Temple and the vibrant Nakamise shopping street. Close proximity to lots of good food, mega Don Don Donki and many shops selling traditional Japanese items and clothings. 😎✌🏻

Richmond Asakusa Hotel has the best location surrounded with so much establishments, 2 minutes walk to Sensoje Temple, 1 station away from Sky Tree Tower, accessible train stations & hotel staffs very accommodating with smile on their faces.
Has great hotel facilities, unlimited toiletries, coffee/tea, free bottle water, bathroom has bath tub, provides night wear everyday, comfortable bed & good food too.
Highly recommended & worth your money.
Next time I come back Tokyo, I’ll definitely stay in this hotel again.

First timer or repeat traveler to explore Asakusa definitely will continue book this hotel again.
Location 10/10, opposite is 2 floor Uniqlo, 5-10 minute walks to Senso-ji Temple, the street food bazaar walking distance, Donki walking distance.
Value for money 9/10, depending on what season you visit.

Great location if you want to visit Asakusa, nearby has Uniqlo, Donki, a lot of shops and restaurants.
We stay at 2nd floor, not able to have a nice view of Sensoji Temple and Tokyo Skytree view.
Paid laundry machines at 2nd floor but only 3 units.
Comforter and pillow with some stains, found 2 long hairs in one of the pyjamas, toilet with urine smell. Not all staff can speak fluent English but they try to help. Overall is good location, but needs to improve the cleanliness.

Modern hotel at a very central and convenient location in Asakusa near all the eateries and the Sensoji Temple. Room is decent size for a Japanese hotel with all the basic amenities
