Well located hotel near Shinjuku gyoen. Although the room is small, it has everything one would need. Love that the air-conditioner can be switched from cold to hot and vice versa, and the fridge in the room is great for storing food like cakes. 2 downsides - noisy as it is in a bar area; but they provide free earplugs so that's great. Second, room I booked was pricey, perhaps v last minute. I miss the hotel's lonestar days, when prices were significantly cheaper. But well everyone wants to go to Tokyo.

There are no information that there are some steps at the entrance, with my heavy luggage i have to carry all of them by myself (i thought the lobby is 1F) but it’s 1.5F, the area is not so bad with all bars around. It’s quite convenient to choose which station to go by 10 minutes walk distance.
The hotel is quite old so all the facilities such as air-con / bath tub / toilet are old version of technology.
Wifi is good here if you want to work.
Would recommend place to people who travel light and work remote.

Pros: Hotel very close by a subway exit! Very convenient!
Very friendly staff and very good attitude, great service!
Con: No free bottles of water in room but there's free coffee and tea in the lobby.

Nice little place. I arrived half an hour earlier than check-in time and they are nice enough to let me in without extra charges. I am very appreciative about that.

Clean room, stable WiFi, near the train station (10-15mins to the JR station), convenient stores and restaurants nearby. But not so quiet on the weekend night( there's bars behind the hotel)
Still, good for solo traveller.
