Stayed for three days so we could visit National Trust places and other attractions. A very warm welcome on arrival no problem checking in and Showen to our room. The room was excellent lots of space had all the amenities TV, tea and coffee making machine snacks if you wanted them at extra cost. The bed was very comfortable no problem sleeping, bathroom clean, nice tidy shower easy to use. The bar and restaurant excellent good range of real ales spirits and so on. As for the food excellent menu choice for breakfast and for evening meal. As for the staff very friendly and polite, a great place to stop if you want to explore Kent. I would highly recommend the Carpenter arms .

Beautiful pub with rooms and superb outside areas. Very friendly welcome! Our bedroom was large, beautifully decorated and well furnished with huge comfy bed and a lovely shower room. The choice of wine, beer and spirits was very good and the menu offers some good options. I was, however, disappointed with my food. The king prawns were very overcooked, difficult to peel and chewy. The shepherds pie is not served traditionally with mash but in a pastry case which was a bit odd. The others in our party were happy with their food. If we are ever in the area again we would stay again.

Perfectly located for our stay in Tonbridge in picturesque countryside. A charming Pub/Hotel with well appointed and clean rooms. Staff very helpful and attentive. The Full English breakfast was really good setting us up for the day! Plenty of parking also available. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Wonderful, relaxing stay in beautiful venue. Beautiful rooms, welcoming staff. The whole atmosphere of the place is cozy and relaxing. It is perfectly situated for exploring and walking the beautiful countryside. I would highly recommend and I will be returning.

I would recommend the Carpenters Arms. Although we only stayed one night the staff were friendly and efficient. The evening meal and drinks really good. The room was very clean and very comfortable beds. Shower/bathroom great. Best full english we've ever had.

For the price of our stay the room was not really up to standard , we had no cups in room ,we had to go and get some , there is no stool or chair by the dressing table ,we had to ask for the heating in bedroom to be put on as it was cold , the radiator in bathroom didn't work, definitely needs sound proofing as you can hear every footstep in corridor. the food though was amazing couldn't fault it at all

Had a great overnight stay with great food, room was lovely with complementary teas, coffee machine and hot chocolate, there is a basket of nice snacks left out but before diving in like we did these are chargeable.. We had a great meal in the restaurant and the wine was also great, slept really well and the breakfast next morning was fantastic, overall couldn't fault our stay at all, we are local and it was a really nice night away, we will 100% return...

Really lovely pub stay. The pub is decorated beautifully, staff are friendly and accommodating! Food was great, especially the breakfast! Would 100% come back and recommend.

Recently renovated and nicely decorated, everything looks brand-new. Friendly staff willing to help. Lovely restaurant with great food and good atmosphere. Quiet and confortable rooms very well furnished. We will come back in the future.
