The hotel has a lovely, boutique-like charm, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a kettle in the room – a nice touch! The breakfast at the downstairs restaurant was a definite highlight! Especially the weekend brunch, which, despite starting a bit late, was absolutely worth the wait. The front desk team, particularly the ladies and a gentleman I believe was named Joy, were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Location-wise, it's about a 20-minute walk to the University of Toronto, with plenty of Chinese restaurants and bubble tea shops in the immediate vicinity. And the Shoppers Drug Mart directly opposite is incredibly convenient and well-stocked.

The hotel itself is decent, featuring a distinctive industrial design and all-new facilities. However, its location near a homeless shelter, right on Yonge Street, means there are quite a few homeless individuals around. Walking on the street, I felt pretty nervous and unsafe. Personally, I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel.

Anndore house is located in city centre bloor and yonge. The hotel is clean and I felt great staying in the master room

Book the larger unit (Suite instead of Studio) much bigger for the price. All receptionists was kind/helpful. Room super clean. Bar so-so.
