Cabanas Tulum- Beach Hotel & Spa

Cool place. Felt luxurious without the fuss of a bigger resort. Pool table and games in lounge were great for our teenage boys. And probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had included in any hotel stay (luxury hotels included)! Fredh, healthy and very tasty! Highly recommended.

My two girlfriends and I had a fantastic 6-night stay at Hotel Cabañas in the two queen bed beachfront room with plunge pool. This was our first time visiting Tulum and the hotel’s location was absolutely perfect - the beach was pristine and it was just a short walk to dozens of excellent restaurants. We felt totally safe in the hotel as well as walking around the neighborhood at night. We were pleased that it was quiet, as many of the beach clubs/hotels down the road BLAST loud music all day. Our room was extremely clean and cozy and we were impressed by the very thorough daily housekeeping (they even washed our windows every day!!). The hotel staff also makes an effort to protect the sea turtles by closing off and securing their nesting areas on the beach which we thought we nice. We also very much enjoyed our complimentary breakfast every day at our choice of Ziggys or Frescos just steps away from the hotel which were both incredible. We used the room service a few times as well via WhatsApp which was very convenient. Every single staff member was extremely kind and really seemed to care about making us comfortable and accommodating our needs (special shout outs to Freddy, Antonio, Felipe & Luis - they are the best!!) We also utilized the free spa hydrotherapy every day (sauna, steam room, hot tub & cold plunge) and got massages for an additional cost which were wonderful. We would fully recommend staying here and would love to come again in the future. Thank you Hotel Cabañas!

What a great place! We (husband, 2 adult children) went for my 60th birthday. The location is perfect. The people that work at the hotel are all so nice. The pool and the furniture at the pool was so nice and inviting. The restaurants Ziggy's and Frescos were both so good. We could have breakfast at either restaurant in the morning and that was included. The beds were very comfortable. The spa was awesome. We did do 2 days of treatments which were incredible. Even if you weren't doing a treatment, you could still do the hydrotherapy. We did it every day! Navil and Fredy at the front desk were so nice and helpful. I have been emailing them for so long with questions. They were always responsive and hospitable. We could walk to many locations because the hotel is in a great spot. We went to many restaurants but kept saying that our first dinner at Ziggy's was one of the best. Breakfast at either restaurant was always delicious. You could also swim in the water at the beach although there was a red flag. There was one stormy day, so we stayed out of the water. It is a great place and I highly recommend it!

Cutest rooms ever. We stayed in 2 rooms. One that was facing the pool and the last part of the week we upgraded to ocean view. Both were special in their own way :) can’t go wrong with any room on the resort. Each with a personal dipping pool. Breakfast is great from their cafe in the morning. Fun location. The staff is A++

Just returned from a 5 day stay at Cabanas and I would definitely return. This hotel is so clean and relaxing and a short walk to everything! The staff is friendly and the amenities are great. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was nothing short of amazing! We also enjoyed use of the bikes to explore the area and the spa area was very relaxing!

I stayed at Cabanas Tulum and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect along the Tulum ***** so that it was easy to walk everywhere and, offering direct access to a beautiful beach, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were nice but standard, providing a comfortable and clean environment. The resort itself was quiet, allowing for a restful and relaxing stay. I highly recommend Cabanas Tulum for anyone looking for a peaceful beach getaway.

The staff is wonderful, place is clean, beautiful beach, and delicious breakfast from both Fresco and Ziggy's! You're able to order drinks and food right on the beach. Great location as it is walkable to the restaurants and shops. AC works great in the room! Would definitely recommend.

What an extraordinary week at the Cabañas Tulum Beach Hotel and Spa! It truly was a flawless week. You are treated to a truly world class experience by the very best hospitality staff my wife and I have encountered. The food and drinks at both Ziggy’s and Fresco’s were exceptional in their own way. Our trim had essentially two balconies with a view of the beach with a hot tub on the top floor. The staff and grounds crew were all engaging and every single person deserves mention. The Spa (hydrotherapy is gratis) was superb and we did a couples message which of course we’ll always remember. You can have trips to local sites arranged through the hotel. We visited Las Ruinas and it’s a gem of a new national parque bordering the Caribbean. So memorable was our trip it felt like we were leaving friends. It’s a 10th Wedding Anniversary we will remember for a lifetime. We’re eternally grateful for the Cabañas owners and their incomparable team. We miss you already❤️

Fabulous place set in a peaceful environment. Freddy was our concierge,he was super accommodating, welcoming and even helped organize our excursion trips. The hotel was situated a perfect in non-party location , but not too far away from everything either if one wanted to engage in festivities. Staff and room service were fantastic and very accommodating. The food was of excellent quality and very fresh. Drinks were amazing! Overall we had a fantastic worry-free time.
