FINAL VERDICT: I would revisit if we want to make most of Disneyland park 3 Line summary - Great for families who are big Disney fans and would like to make perfect memories & experience. Park Grand View room gets you view to the Disney castle, fireworks and the monorail, elevating the experience. - Location trumps all. Provides a cozy shelter very close to the Disney park which helped the family recharge (especially younger ones) and re-enter the theme park. - Inconvenient for visitors who do not speak English. Servers will try their best to attend to foreigners, but their language skills are limited and there are some services (not many) are only offered only to Japanese speakers WHEN: Feb 2024 WHO: Family of 3, includes a 2 year old daughter WHAT ROOM: Alcove Superior room with Park Grand View HOW: We visited the Tokyo Disneyland for 2 days in 2024 early February. Weather was very helpful despite it being Winter for Tokyo. 3 ~ 12 degrees celsius and mild with some clouds or sunny time to time. It was our 3rd Tokyo Disneyland visit and we wanted to explore the park seriously. The Disneyland hotel location is very helpful for this as its a mere 5 minute walk so we went to our room often to take rests and recharge. We had the Park Grand View room so we could enjoy the theme parks’ dreamy ambience even at the room, not to mention that we got to see all the fireworks comfortably in bed. Check in process and getting personalized service is inconvenient, especially if you consider how expensive the rooms are. Cast members are not well trained in English (they will still do their best) so conveying personal requests was cumbersome for me. Also some services (ex. soft copy access on photos taken by Disney photographers) are only available to Japanese speakers - I ended up switching my Disney app to Japanese to get more features from the app. TIPS: - You can only book Tokyo Disney Offical hotels (Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, Miracoasta Hotel, upcoming Fantasy Springs Hotel etc) through their official website and not by 3rd parties. - You can do self-check in, which is much shorter than having to wait for a long line at 3pm sharp and getting more delays because the lobby casts are bad in English. - Hotel has a private garden that is only for guests staying at the hotel, which is a perfect realization of a Disney princess’s garden. - Better view rooms are offered through disney vacation packages so consider if you want to lock in a perfect room. *Disclaimer: 1. My reviews are very subjective and based on my own experience. 2. I NEVER WRITE PAID REVIEWS. 3. I may have biased towards family-friendly experiences since I am a dad to our family of 3. 4. I favor quality, time and experience over affordability
