The good things are: upgraded room, mini-balcony with lots of windows, welcoming fruits / nuts, staff willing to help.
The things to be improved: hot water (available only after 4 minutes of waiting with the shower on), easier access to WiFi, and it would be great if the staff knew about the locations and ways to get to the most iconic destinations around the city to be able to help tourists in need.

My stay at Oasis Grand Hotel was really great. The location is perfect, and the view from my room was amazing. The room was big and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. Even though the building is old, it still looks great. I highly recommend this hotel.

Front Desk staff are poorly trained, when I first checked in she was adamant that they don't receive booking from foreign websites. Only to find it after 10 min with my persistence.
Staff are unhelpful and feel like they do not want to be there, and not once have I received a smile from any staff.
Would not recommend to anyone who doesn't have a Chinese ID.
