Absolutely beautiful food! Brilliant service, really comfy seating and chilled out a**osphere and great area to bring your dog after a brisk walk on the moors - will be returning! P.s pork belly bites are to die for and the pie was really yummy! Everyone enjoyed their meal

We stayed just one night at The Burrator Inn but what a lovely stay. We had a tasty dinner before retiring to our large, well furnished, comfortable bedroom. The room was warm and welcoming with a good en suite bathroom. The breakfast menu was excellent, and the staff friendly and efficient. We would certainly recommend it to our friends.

Stopped for a lunch. Not offered the £11 menu. Only had soup and a sandwich. Brought the wrong thing first time round, the soup as then cold when we got it. Retirned it and they said I thought it might be! Awful waste of money, will not be back in a hurry. So disappointing..

Our stay was good, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean, tidy and comfy. The bathroom was a little older, could do with a little decoration and the shower head needed replaced but otherwise it was fine. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Breakfast was good too.

Nice location on the edge of Dar**oor. Plenty of car parking. Food was god and bedroom was good size. TV in room didn't work, was informed aerial had been damaged in recent snow storm (over a week ago). Bedroom was so hot I switched all radiators off at about 3am (too hot to sleep anyway). And the net curtains in the bathroom had mould on the bottom. Breakfast was OK, full English with toast, orange juice and tea. The live music turned out to be a DJ playing vinyl. Probably won't return.

Convenient to visit our family in Tavistock.
Extremely comfortable bed, and cleanliness in bedroom.
Great hospitality and very welcoming.

Booked in for one night and wished we could have stayed a week. We were made extremely welcome by Mike and his staff, excellent food for evening meal and breakfast. A good large room with comfortable king size bed and all the bits and pieces. Good shower and fast broadband. Lots of thoughtful touches. Great location for the national park and even though the weather was very much against us, we managed a short walk at the reservoir and went on to explore Tavistock a little later. Will definitely visit again and explore the area further.

The Burrator is just 30 minutes from the Plymouth waterfront and good walking starts at it's parking lot.

This was the third time we have stayed at the Burrator Inn. It suits our purpose admirably. Staff are most obliging and do their best to make the stay enjoyable.
