Lovely little hotel, that also boasts one of the most popular restaurant cafes in Xiahe. Rooms are simple, but clean and the staff will go out of their way to help you. Place is easy to find and close to the Labrang Monastery.

Great stay, thank you. Nepali food was delicious! But note it’s no longer possible to hire a bike (which it says in Lonely Planet).

Near the monastery. Good restaurant. Friendly and helpful host, helped us organise a tour to the grassland. Hot water, good shower. Free bottled water. Cute cat. Unfortunately no heater and no heatingblanket, curtains not dark.

A *******-style hotel, only about 500 meters away from Labrang Monastery, it feels a bit petty bourgeois. The environment in the room and restaurant is very clean! The landlady also upgraded us to a business standard room for free. Reviews said that the curry rice and milk tea in the Nepali-style restaurant on the first floor are delicious, if we arrive at 8pm. Unexpectedly, there were still many people in the restaurant and no seats available. By 9pm we finally had Nepalese curry rice and milk tea. The two of us still couldn't finish a pot of milk tea. After the boss heated it up, he let us take it to the room to drink. The boss's service was so heartwarming. By the way, when we arrived, the boss helped us deliver our big suitcases directly to the room. I particularly like their style and atmosphere.

The hotel is very eye-catching, with the Xiahe River in front of it. It has a one-story restaurant with unique decoration. The proprietress is very enthusiastic and upgraded our room for free. Some of the rooms are wooden structures and there is a small sun terrace. I think it would be very comfortable to sit on a high stool and drink coffee or red wine in the summer. The *******-style room has very hot bath water. The Nepalese food downstairs is worth trying and tastes good. Friends who love to play can stay at the Snow Mountain Inn when they travel to Gannan.
