Xiamen UME Shi Jian Inn @ Zeng Cuo An

The room was exactly like the pictures. I only noticed how close it was to the beach, a ten-minute walk. However, the B&B was inside Zengcuo'an Food Street. When I took a taxi there, the driver couldn't get in, so I got out and walked a bit. There's a Miniso and a bar downstairs, and I was worried it would be too noisy at night, as the food street is usually closed around 11 p.m. I could hear some noise from the neighbors, though. The owner was also very nice. Since there was no elevator, he helped with luggage. The bath towels and face towels were all disposable, which was a nice touch.

Our family of seven enjoyed a two-bedroom, one-living room, and a separate play area. The kids loved the indoor pool, and the service was excellent. The hostess was very welcoming, and the staff were helpful with laundry services, answering all our questions. It was a wonderful experience. The only downside was the bathroom door was a little see-through and didn't lock. Otherwise, everything was excellent. It felt like home, and I give it a full star rating!
