The views are stunning and expansive, and the place was spotless. The staff were incredibly friendly, and our room was excellent. Plus, the location is perfect, being very close to all the nearby attractions.

This is the absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The sink was cracked and poorly sealed, leaking water from below. There was only one bedside table. The shower had terrible drainage issues, flooding badly, and only the bathroom lights were working. We had to notify staff, and even then, a technician had to be called to fix things on-site. The whole experience was utterly dreadful. Steer clear! Seriously, stay away!

The staff provided incredibly warm and attentive service, and their attitude was excellent. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, with great housekeeping. The overall environment was also clean, spacious, and bright. Its location is fantastic too, very close to many attractions, with Xiamen University right next door. Truly highly recommended!

## A Truly Awful Hotel Experience: My Firsthand Account The hotel I booked for this trip was an absolute rip-off, a quintessential example of 'high price, low quality.' I chose this place initially drawn in by its advertised 'boutique luxury' positioning, but after paying nearly 1,000 yuan per night, I received an environment and service that completely failed to justify the price. Upon entering the room, I was immediately struck by the dated furniture and heavily worn carpets. There were unidentified stains clinging to the wall corners, and even mold growing in the grout lines of the bathroom tiles. The overall condition was barely acceptable, nowhere near the quality one would expect for this price point. What was even more infuriating was that the toilet in the bathroom became severely clogged during use, with wastewater nearly overflowing and emitting a pungent odor. Despite reporting it to the front desk for maintenance, no one followed up to clean the mess. Paying significantly more than other hotels in the area only to endure such a dreadful stay, with both the amenities and service responsiveness being utterly flawed. I strongly urge the hotel management to seriously address these issues and improve their operations. Otherwise, their exorbitant pricing coupled with such subpar quality will inevitably drive guests away.
