Environment: Whenever I stay at a hotel, hygiene is always my top priority, and this time, the attention to detail at this hotel in Lin'an really impressed me! The bedding felt super soft and was completely wrinkle-free. The bathroom mirror was sparkling clean, and I couldn't spot a single bit of limescale in the tile grout, even in the corners. In the morning, when I drew back the curtains, the sunlight streamed in, and even the leaves of the potted plant on the windowsill gleamed with cleanliness. The toiletries were miniature branded bottles, and the towels were folded perfectly square, with a faint scent of disinfectant. Housekeeping came every day for the three days I stayed, changing everything, which made me feel completely secure. All the fatigue from traveling just melted away the moment I stepped into that clean room!

This hotel is located within the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area, offering stunning mountain and river views right outside the window – perfect for effortless photos. It's also very close to the bamboo raft pier, which saved us a lot of time. The room was equipped with a full set of convenient Xiaomi smart home devices, and it was clean, hygienic, and quiet. If you want to experience the lively atmosphere of West Street, it's just a 10-minute taxi ride, allowing you to avoid the noise and get some good rest. The hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful and meticulous, providing excellent advice from check-in to transportation and tour arrangements. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. If our itinerary hadn't been so tight, we would have loved to stay a few more days to truly soak in the tranquility of the mountains and rivers.

Staying at Puyun was wonderful; the hotel's location is fantastic, directly facing the Li River, making travel very convenient. It's also super close to the West Street scenic area, easily reachable on foot. Each floor has a unique vibe, with a Western restaurant, bar, and gym – it was a really comfortable and enjoyable experience. Loved it, definitely recommend!

This was one of our best experiences in China. I would recommend this place to anyone. The villa/farmhouse we stayed in is perfect for big groups. The villa/farmhouse has 5 big bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with a shower and western toilet. The food at the hotel was brilliant! The courtyard in front was lovely in the mornings for breakfast, and the restaurant on the roof was amazing in the evening, looking over the mountains. We loved it, will definitely be back there soon! Thank you for an amazing stay and friendly hospitality.

This hotel boasts a fantastic location right next to the pier. It's just a few minutes' walk to the scenic spot featured on the 20 RMB banknote, and Xingping Ancient Town is a mere 3-5 minute stroll away. Chaobanshan Pier is also incredibly close; you can reach it quickly by electric shuttle, which is super convenient!
The round-trip boat ride from Xingping Chaobanshan Pier to Nine-Horse Fresco Hill is a must-do. This route covers the most picturesque section of the Li River, including the famous landscape from the 20 RMB banknote and the Nine-Horse Fresco Hill itself. A one-way journey takes about 50 minutes.
Our room was very comfortable, clean, and tidy. The best part? From the balcony, we could even see the iconic landscape featured on the 20 RMB banknote – absolutely stunning! The proprietress was incredibly thoughtful and even specially prepared breakfast for us! We were all extremely satisfied and would definitely love to come back again!

GGuest UserThe hotel advertises as having an all-year-round open pool and it's not true. During our stay at the end of April with maximum temperatures above 30°C there was no pool to cool off, and the staff told us it was because it was still too early in the year. This was very disappointing as having a pool was the main reason for our choice of hotel, so I'd say this hotel didn't meet our expectations and they should state this clearly on Trip to avoid future confusion of guests. Other things to improve are the storage space in the rooms (there's barely any room to place suitcases etc) and the soundproofing (we were woken up several days by loud guests at 7am or earlier). On the positive side, the beds were comfortable (average hardness of mattress for westerners standards) and the shower was the best we've had in our whole trip through China: very modern, with good water pressure and no fluctuating temperature. The room thermostat worked really well and the hotel has some nice amenities for guests to use such as tea, massage chairs (a bit worn out but still working) and a vintage game console. The staff helped us with luggage, gave us information and even a small present at the end of our stay, which was a nice touch. The location of the hotel is in a quieter part of town, ideal for sleeping but still close enough to streets with lots of restaurants, cafes etc (try Heytea in west street if you can!).
Overall it's been good value for money, although the hotel could do some clean up/refurbishment work and the pool availability should be advertised accurately.

MM360408****The room was clean, odor-free, and very spacious. I originally booked a twin room with two 1.2m beds, but the owner upgraded me to a king-size bed for free. It's located inside West Street, making it easy to find. No stairs to climb either. It's also cheaper than the hotels on蟠桃路 (Pantao Road).

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts stylish decor and spotlessly clean rooms. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make our trip comfortable and convenient. A special highlight was the rooftop terrace, offering breathtaking panoramic views of West Street. We were also pleasantly surprised when the bar staff offered us complimentary drinks. Highly recommended!

EErikucciaAmazing hotel with a heartbreaking view. The location is super good, in the countryside but close to a few restaurants, shops, electrical bike rent, and some scenic spots but also at 10/15 min driving from yangshuo city. The room was huge, as was the bathroom as well, the bed was super comfortable and the bathtub with the view as the balcony was priceless. The staff is really nice and they speak English so the communication was easy. Breakfast with traditional guilin noodles was also super good, highly recommended
