Overall, this stay was very nice. The inn is on the Nanhu side. The owner will pick you up at the parking lot. This is really good. The road in the village is too bumpy and it is really hard to drag a suitcase. In addition, my family especially likes this kind of house with a yard. It is very comfortable to stay. The owner is also enthusiastic. The experience is very good and there is no disappointment. I will choose it again if I have the opportunity to visit next time. Hongcun is so beautiful.

Hongcun Yushan mountain scenery house is convenienly located near the South Gate of Hongcun Scenic area. We booked courtyard B which is located outside and behind the main hotel complex with breakfast included. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and had a small courtyard, but unfortunately no garden chairs or table to sit outside. In hindsight we woud book another room in the main complex next time. It has a lovely open garden and plenty of outdoor seating. I contacted the hotel before our stay and managed by using a voice translator to connect with the staff on Wechat. A friendly staff member met us at the entrance to the scenic area and entry is free of charge when you stay at the hotel. The hotel staff don't speak any English, but they were very helpful and friendly and we got along fine using Wechat and other translators. I won't recommend eating dinner at the hotel as there are many local Chinese restaurants in the ancient village. The hotel offers a coffee shop in the lobby and has a number of options, like Americano, Latte etc. The coffee is very good, but I felt it was a bit pricey for the cup size. The hotel breakfast is Chinese with no Western options, and it is served in unique way in a tray. I enjoyed the breakfast, but my husband would have liked more western options. On our arrival the room was already pre-heated and the beds in the room were comfortable. It was snowing lightly when we arrived and there were umbrellas available in the room. They also provide vanity items. We visited just before the Chinese New Year tourist rush at the beginning of the holiday and this was a very good location and time to visit despite the cold weather. The ancient village was not too crowded and it was nice to walk around in the evenings and daytime with the hotel is situated conveniently right next to the South lake. Drone flying is allowed which can give drone flyers an aerial view of the village. Depending on your iterinary a one night stay is sufficient to visit Hongcun and the nearby Xidi ancient village then move on to another hotel at the foot or top of the mountain or Tunxi village. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to travelers wanting a good hotel experience in Hongcun.

The room is very large, quiet and hygienic. It is a quiet place in a busy city. It is a very artistic homestay. There is an independent terrace, where you can swing, bask in the sun, drink coffee and feel the style of southern Anhui. The third floor is very photogenic. The Beijing man is very enthusiastic, providing food and drinks, and I felt a different kind of warmth. It is very convenient to play in the scenic area. Recommended! Hongcun is very beautiful, but there are really many people during the holidays, which affects the senses a bit.

I took my children to play in the summer vacation. The B&B is an old building that has been renovated. The effect is good and the location is excellent. I took a bus to Hongcun Bus Station and called the B&B. The proprietress immediately sent a three-wheeled electric vehicle to pick me up. It took less than two minutes to get to the Hongcun Ticket Office, and then it took three minutes to walk through the alley to the store. Go out of the front door of the B&B and walk straight for one minute to Yuezhao, and go out of the back door and walk through the alley for three minutes to Shuangshu. The room is tatami, which solves the risk of children turning over randomly. The B&B has a kitchen where you can order meals. The baby ate stinky mandarin fish and sauced spare ribs. I think the taste is good. There is a laundry room where you can wash clothes and a rooftop terrace where you can dry clothes. It is very convenient. The proprietress knew that we were going to Qiyun Mountain, and she also gave us three exchange coupons to save the ticket money. Hongcun also has activities recently, and you can bring one child for free.

The hotel is located within the scenic area near the popular tourist spot. The staff have been very helpful and can assist with luggage handling. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It is a valuable experience to stay in an ancient house. Thank you.

Amazing experience! You get a cute room inside the scenic area, very close to the South entrance, the building itself has 200-300 years of history. The owners are very helpful and hospitable. Hot shower, working AC & wifi, definitely recommend!

The B&B is very close to the south entrance of the scenic spot. You can park your car in the south gate parking lot and walk there in a few minutes. Next to it is Nanhu Lake, and you can reach the center of the scenic spot just by walking out of the B&B. The courtyard is very clean, with exquisite and beautiful decoration. The four of us booked a duplex room, and the two large beds were very comfortable to sleep on. Before checking in, the boss turned on the air conditioner for us in advance and came to the parking lot to pick up our luggage. He also sent it to the parking lot when we returned, so we didn't have to worry about bringing our suitcases. The breakfast is quite rich, light and filling. After visiting Huangshan for a few days, I ate too much Huizhou food. The food cooked by the hostess of the B&B is delicious. Any stir-fry is delicious. The stir-fried bamboo shoots with pickled cabbage are especially delicious, and the homemade tofu is also very fragrant. .

When visiting Hongcun, it is definitely more convenient to stay in the scenic area. We chose the Qingyin Caolu B&B, which is located in a quiet area amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. It only takes 2 minutes to walk into the alley from the big tree at the entrance of the village. My kid and I stayed in Yuese Xishi room, which had a big bed and a big window. The weather was fine and the view from the window was stunning.

We stayed here for two nights and it felt like visiting family :-) The hosts were so heart-warming and caring and did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We can totally recommend Shangsharuoshui Homestay and we will definitely come back. The hotel is brand-new and beautifully designed. The room was well equipped and perfectly clean. All amenities were provided. For the second day we were asked about our wishes for breakfast. The hosts also organised a reliable and cheaper taxi to Huangshan North. Location couldn't be better, very quiet and just 2 min walk to the moon pond. Again, it's hard to imagine finding hosts which are more friendly and generous than at this place. What a truly remarkable stay ❤️ Thanks again for the fare-well gifts!

After coming down from Huangshan, I took a bus to Hongcun Bus Station. I couldn't walk anymore, so I wanted to stay in a better place, so I ordered this B&B. The environment is amazing, and the children are so happy. The toiletries are from Bulgari. In short, I think it's worth it. It's impossible to walk on the stone road in Hongcun with luggage. The hotel can provide pick-up and drop-off services between bus stations, which is great. Don't underestimate these few hundred meters. After you come down from Huangshan, the last few hundred meters feel like the last straw that breaks the camel's back. In short, I strongly recommend it to every tourist, especially those who travel with families.
