Zhangjiakou Chongli District Hotels

We stayed at Passton Hotel for a two-day weekend trip to Thaiwoo Town, and it was a fantastic experience! Getting there was a breeze; direct navigation leads you straight to the underground parking garage right at the hotel entrance, which has plenty of spaces and even charging stations on B1. Our room, decorated in a charming European vintage style, was fully equipped and offered excellent views of the entire town and its surroundings. A big plus was the complimentary hot springs available at the hotel! The staff provided truly exceptional service; anything we needed was just a phone call away and promptly delivered to our room. You absolutely *must* try the hotel's complimentary breakfast – it's so extensive, it could easily double as lunch! They offer a rich spread with both Chinese and Western options, and everything tasted excellent. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

We participated in the Spartan Race with my kids. The hotel is super close to the venue, just a short walk up a hill. Coming back after the race was all downhill, which was a relief and not tiring at all. Our room was lovely – clean, fresh, and really spacious. It had a long tatami mat area, easily big enough for two people to sleep, which meant this was the first time I've traveled with two children and didn't even need a separate family room. That was fantastic value! Breakfast was abundant, and the front desk service was excellent too. My only small criticism is that the room didn't have a main overhead light, so it often felt a bit dim.

This hotel stay experience was great! From the moment we stepped into the lobby, the front desk staff welcomed us warmly and checked us in quickly and attentively. The room was spotlessly clean and the bedding was comfortable. The breakfast is rich and varied, and the restaurant waiters will add water and ask about your needs in a timely manner. The hotel service is attentive everywhere, and it must be praised! I am really touched by the service of this hotel! I asked a lot of questions before the trip and the customer service answered them patiently. When checking in, we arrived very late due to flight delays, but the staff still kept smiling. During the stay, the room service responded very quickly and met all the requests. This trip was made even better by this hotel. Highly recommend this hotel! The service was first class, the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned meticulously. The hotel's food and beverage service was also excellent. Here, every detail makes people feel extremely comfortable, and we will come again next time!

Big thanks to Eva for upgrading us to a suite; she was incredibly warm and friendly. The housekeeping staff was also very kind and helped me find a buckwheat pillow. It's really cool up here in the mountains, about ten degrees cooler than Beijing, making it perfect for a summer escape from the heat. There's a shuttle bus service to the high-speed rail station and the forest park, though we didn't catch it. Taxis are also very convenient, so if you prefer more flexibility, you can easily just take one. Breakfast was good, and dinner featured Southeast Asian cuisine, along with some sashimi – pretty standard fare for a Crowne Plaza. The balcony was nice, but there were a lot of bugs due to being in the mountains. I imagine it would be better in winter. There are a few restaurants within the resort, though dining options are a bit limited. We ate out one day and at the hotel the other, and both were decent. There's also a small convenience store where you can pick up some drinks and alcohol. There's a library at the top of the mountain, accessible by the resort's cable car, and the views from there are absolutely stunning. The forest park is great for hiking; it's not too hot and the sunshine is lovely. You can also drive up to the summit for photos, where the scenery is beautiful with lots of trees – truly a natural oxygen bar. We'll definitely come back here for our next vacation!

Chongli isn't just for winter; you can enjoy a perfect 21℃ summer here too! 💯 Thaiwoo Town boasts a plethora of hotels, and this time we chose Nanshanli Hotel, located at the innermost part of the town! We were actually just scouting it out for a future winter ski trip 🎿, but to our surprise, we were incredibly satisfied with every single aspect! The No. 9 gondola is conveniently located right outside the first-floor ski rental hall platform – perfect for ski-in/ski-out access! I have so many photos, but I could only upload 20... I wish I could share them all! Nanshanli Hotel *only* comprises Buildings C and D ‼️ The A and B buildings in front are a separate hotel called A&B Hotel – make sure not to confuse them! Our room was in Building C. We parked underground, and you can get complimentary parking by scanning the hotel's QR code when checking out! The elevators for Buildings C and D in the basement are not far from each other and are easy to find – just look for the subtly lit entrance. Both buildings feature guest rooms from the 2nd to 7th floors: In Building D, you'll find the front desk for check-in, breakfast and dinner are served on the second floor, while the G floor boasts hot springs, spa and foot massages, and a children's adventure park. In Building C, you can enjoy afternoon tea in the lobby, and right outside is a charming deer park where you can interact closely with deer! The complimentary package, including three days of hot spring access, afternoon tea, and a charcoal BBQ, offered superb value for money! Breakfast was included for two adults with the room, and it was only 48 RMB per child (1.2m-1.4m tall), which is very reasonable! A free shuttle bus operates every 20 minutes from the hotel entrance, taking you to various spots within Thaiwoo Town! Extremely convenient! The hotel is relatively new, with good facilities and decorations. The service is superb! Because of the problem of bed size, I wanted to change to a room of the same price. The store owner was very patient to take me to see the room first and then adjust it. The front desk and service staff communicated with the attitude of helping to solve the problem, and their attitude was also very good. It is a good choice to come to Chongli. In addition, the breakfast is delicious.

My Stay at InterContinental Chongli: Where Quality and Warmth Meet Amidst Snow-Capped Mountains Chongli, blanketed in white during winter, is a popular destination for ski enthusiasts, and naturally, accommodation choices significantly shape the overall travel experience. This stay at InterContinental Chongli began the moment I stepped into the lobby, where I was immediately struck by the unique blend of mountainous grandeur and refined quality. Upon check-in, the warm welcome from the front desk staff immediately melted away our travel fatigue. Learning we were ski enthusiasts, they not only swiftly processed our registration but also proactively informed us about the hotel's ski equipment storage, drying service, and shuttle bus schedules to nearby ski resorts. These thoughtful details truly enhanced our positive impression. Our mountain-view king room, situated on a high floor, offered breathtaking panoramic views of the distant, snow-capped peaks the moment we opened the balcony door. The sunlight shimmered on the snow, creating a picture-perfect winter scene. Inside, the furnishings were both stylish and practical. Warm lighting paired with plush bedding made the room incredibly cozy, a welcome retreat from the cold. The mini-bar was well-stocked with a wide variety of drinks and snacks, and there were even local specialty treats on the coffee table, all reflecting the hotel's meticulous attention to detail. The hotel's buffet restaurant was a delightful surprise. The breakfast spread was incredibly comprehensive, ranging from freshly prepared pancakes and noodles to Western options like bread and bacon, alongside fresh fruits and yogurt – truly something for every palate. Dinner was even more impressive, featuring not only local specialty stews and roasted meats but also exquisite seafood and desserts. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors authentic. The restaurant itself was very comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of the snowy landscape, making dinner feel like a magical experience in a fairytale setting. The hotel's amenities are equally commendable. The gym was well-equipped and meticulously maintained, with windows offering beautiful snow views during workouts, making exercise a truly pleasant experience. The SPA center provided professional services, and after a massage, all fatigue simply melted away. For families with children, the kids' play area was an especially thoughtful addition, allowing children to play freely while parents enjoyed a moment of peace. What truly stood out, however, was the hotel's exceptional service. Every staff member, from room service to those in public areas, was consistently smiling and enthusiastic, promptly addressing and resolving any request. On one particular occasion, after returning from skiing, we discovered some damage to our equipment. The staff immediately assisted us in arranging repairs and thoughtfully provided spare gear, ensuring we didn't miss out on skiing the next day. In conclusion, my stay at InterContinental Chongli was nothing short of perfect. It offers not only a prime location and comfortable accommodations but also incredibly thoughtful service and a wealth of amenities. Here, you can fully enjoy the thrill of skiing while experiencing the warmth and comfort of a home away from home. Without a doubt, this will be my first choice for accommodation on my next visit to Chongli.

My first stay was absolutely amazing. The room was brand new, the service was excellent, and it's very close to Thaiwoo Town, with a daily shuttle bus and free transfers to the high-speed rail station. It's only a 5-minute drive away, so transportation is very convenient. We share a children's playground with the InterContinental Hotel, which has lots of activities for kids. There are also many rides behind the hotel, which was fantastic. Each room also comes with a complimentary travel photo shoot, including a set of clothes and five free retouched photos. It was a great experience, and the hotel interior looks great in photos.

First of all giving 5 stars is not wanting to be disturbed by posting comments. Overall rating I give 3 and a half stars, that is: okay, but only okay. It can be the advantages barely worthy of the room price, but the disadvantages will make people feel all kinds of chicken here. Let's talk about the advantages, the service is very good, the front desk is very willing to remind the customer, encounter problems to seek solutions. Secondly, the ski-in is really a good experience. Now let’s start talking about the disadvantages: 1. The scene was not clearly marked, I didn’t see the parking lot entrance sign when I drove into the venue, and finally stopped at the double dragon on the slope. 2. The positioning is unclear, a bit like a business hotel, and a bit like a family parent-child hotel, but did not do well. 3. If you locate a business hotel, then there is no yukata provided, no mini bar, the laundry room can only be used next door Double Dragon. And I went to see the laundry room next to Shuanglong. The washer and dryer were all 20 years ago, and they actually provided washing powder. 4. If locating a parent-child hotel, then Noda has a kitchen, no dishes, no knives, forks, chopsticks, no electric refrigerator, only an induction cooker and a steamer. 5. The wifi router is still 10 years ago model tplink, only 2.4g network, and can not cover the whole house. 6. Finally, people lying at the head of the bed can not turn off the lights, which is also a very strange setting

The hotel's location is good, but traffic started building up as soon as we got close. The main issue was that the traffic lights didn't have separate lanes for going straight and turning, which led to cars jostling for space and causing significant congestion. Once in the town, we couldn't find the underground parking, and the security guard at the entrance was completely unhelpful, giving us incorrect directions. The room had a dark color scheme and was very comfortable, and the front desk service was good. There was a loud speaker in the plaza in front of the building repeatedly playing the same song from morning till night, which was quite disruptive. The breakfast selection was very limited and just average. However, the complimentary hot spring access or movie tickets were a great bonus. Overall, a positive experience!
