There is no hair dryer in the hotel. You need to ask the front desk to borrow it. There is not even a hair dryer that can be borrowed during peak hours. After washing your hair, you can only wait for your hair to dry by yourself. The front desk of the hotel had a bad attitude when asking him questions around 11 p.m. and didn't want to pay attention to you.
Location ok, very close to Oxford city.
The room is quite small, but the transition is acceptable overnight, after all, the location is there.
The biggest bug is that there is no air conditioning. Although the summer in the UK is very short, the day I live may be the hottest day in Oxford. So lucky 🤣, I can’t sleep hot. Although the room is equipped with a small fan, it almost doesn’t work, and the fan has been useless for a long time. The area is full of dust.
It's really good! The old man at the front desk is very nice! I like British gentlemen very much. It's very comfortable to live here! I will come again next time. It's very convenient to go everywhere. I miss the life of an international student.
The talkhouse was a really homely accommodation right outside of Oxford. The room was exactly like the pictures. The staff were incredibly helpful and I must say the showers is probably one of the best I’ve had in the uk. (Proper water pressure, temperature and drainage so I’m not swimming in my own filth). Also have a drink or dinner at the pub, it’s seems to be a popular favourite amongst the locals as well. One thing to note for light sleepers, the rooms are side by side so you might hear your neighbours & it is right by the road so you’ll be able to hear vehicles at busier times.
Gorgeous and super cool hotel with all the amenities.
Super comfy bed with top quality bedding, very clean, cool decor, great vibes.
Hot / cold water tap on every floor with tea and coffee in the rooms or complimentary Clipper teas in the reception area. GHD straighteners and Dyson hairdryer in every room. Very good power shower with good towels and toiletries provided.
Fantastic friendly service and quick check in (3pm) and check out (11am). The reception area is a lovely place to sit and play a board game (provided) or have a cocktail from the great menu. Bikes available to hire. Free parking available on site.
Brilliant American diner on site - a must visit. The eggs are 👌🏽
A short drive from the park and ride and about 20min drive to Oxford city centre.
The clerk is very friendly. The room is not big but relatively clean. It is quite far from the city. You need to walk a little to buy food. It is a residential area and relatively quiet. The shop is relatively exquisite and can be considered a British characteristic. Although it is small, it has all the necessary features. There are three parking spaces in the front and back yards, and they can also park in the one next door that also belongs to them.
Fantastic place for a quiet stay within a 25-minute walk of Oxford city centre. The accommodation is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, making it a truly relaxing retreat. We had to be up early in the morning, but the location was very quiet. Mandy who assisted us with check in was incredibly professional and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. Highly recommend this gem.
Breakfast is very good. The chef orders it now: omelet, shredded cheese, vegetables, mushrooms, etc. It's great. Other kinds of bread, fresh juice coffee tea. Meat has sausages, bacon. Peach apple, cantaloupe, pineapple and other fruits, a kind of Danone fruit yoghurt. All in all, including early value
Limited facilities provided. Only a restaurant and some toys for kids. Breakfast was good and tasty. Staff can be more trained to provide better services. Had an experience that when the cleaner cleaned my room, he or she just put some unopened rubbish bags inside the rubbish bins and I have to open the bags and wrap it into the rubbish bin by myself. Front desk had also lost my registered parcel they collected for me.
I discovered this hotel while looking for accommodation on my way down from the Manchester area, intending to visit the Cotswolds. Trip.com offered the best price. At around £50 (approximately 100,000 KRW considering the exchange rate), it featured a spacious bathroom with a tub on the terrace, and the radiator worked perfectly. It was a perfect place to unwind before heading back to Korea.
I saw many overwhelmingly positive reviews from fellow Koreans for this hotel, so I booked it, and it turned out to be an absolutely fantastic stay!
My schedule meant I skipped the Cotswolds and visited Bicester Village instead, but honestly, it's no longer worth the trip. I'd recommend looking for a different outlet. I personally found the Mac Designer Outlet chain to feel more authentic and offer a much better experience.

GGuest UserJust a one night stop over, ready for a University Open Day, with my daughter. Lovely welcome at Reception. The twin room was very comfortable, clean, fresh and airy (we like to open windows, which we could easily). Lovely en-suite with very large walk-in shower. Great over the sink mirror. 2 very wide single beds with extremely comfortable, lightweight duvets. Fridge in room. Accessible sockets for charging up phones etc. Free wifi. Large Tesco next door open until midnight. We didn’t have breakfast at hotel as wanted to eat our own thing in room and get off early so off to Tesco to pick up supplies and keep in fridge. Only disappointment, like many hotels currently, unable to mirror from our iPhones to TV (Samsung here) to watch what we choose (Netflix etc). Wasted a lot of time trying to sort that (much Googling) but unable. Would have given it 5 for amenities if we had been able to do that.
PPHYO PHYO WAI YANG YINGWe absolutely enjoyed our 3 days 2 nights stay at the graduate hotel at Oxford. We booked 2 King room bedrooms for me&my husband & my son for 2 nights. I am a little worry about 24m2 size of the bedroom might be too small for us but upon arrival and check-in, the room is just nice, very cozy and warm and very Brtish atmosphere. The arrival hall is really pleasant, they have a small cozy bar for good whisky cider and some snacks. My husband & I enjoyed our drinks at the bar, we tried their British draught cider. For the breakfast, they reserve at very beautifully designed Alica restaurant just next to the reception. Very decent English buffet. Not too crowded and very enjoyable morning breakfast.
The bed, pillow blankets are super comfortable and we had uninterrupted sleep throughout the night. The room temperature is just nice we set at 19-22 degrees.
The bathroom is not spacious but just nice for 1 person. However the bathroom floor is alittle cold as the hotel did not provide slipper. The amenities are decent shampoo/bath gel/conditioner big bottle sizes with small soap though we prefer hand gel and hand lotion as it is cold weather.
The room has a spacious corner for closet and luggage, that is very good for my husband and I.
However there's only 1 chair for reading and the light/lamp are a little dim maybe we can call it cozy [ Brtish style ].
Pros-
Fabulous location to all tourist attractions [ 5 - 10 mins walk ]
Pros-
Fabulous hotel with good hardware & software
Pros-
Restaurants & bar that open late and offer food and drinks late till 10pm
Pros-
Daily Housekeeping is very good
Pros-
Hotel offers on-site car parking service by the conceige at £48/per night , we paid £96 for 2 nights car parking, same price as London Cheval
Pros-
They only charge £1 for security deposit that's very unusual but we total appreciate it.
100% Happy & Satisfied with the stay

HHaidideboluodehaiThis hotel is quite similar to a modern, no-frills budget hotel you'd find in China – clean, hygienic, and with adequately sized rooms. For Oxford, it offers pretty good value for money. However, manage your expectations; it's a clean, functional hotel that simply gets the job done, nothing fancy, nothing terrible.
**Facilities:** Generally good. The internet speed was fast, and the facilities felt new with no strange odors. *However, the bathroom and shower were very small and cramped to use, which was a significant downside.*
**Cleanliness:** The hotel was spotlessly clean, free of any strange or smoky smells.
**Location/Environment:** It's about a 10-minute taxi ride from Oxford University (costing around 10 Euros). The surroundings are very quiet and peaceful, with nice greenery. It's also conveniently located for transport.
**Service:** The staff were very friendly. However, upon my check-in, the hotel was fully booked, and I had to wait at the front desk for 30 minutes to complete the check-in process. This was a bit frustrating, but I could understand the situation.
BBecezsiLovely hotel in a beautiful location! The riverside setting makes for a lovely view! We stayed in a spacious suite and were accommodated with an extra bed with no problem at all. Decor is a little dated and the accommodation could have been a little cleaner however, the staff were wonderful and the breakfast was great!
We would stay here again, thank you for a lovely stay!
GGuest UserWe have visited Sunbury Hotel a few times now , this time we were disturbed by person or persons at 02.47am and also experienced a lot of noise transmitted from above, both of which were a first for us and certainly surprised us. The cleaning service over the three nights amounted to pulling up the bed covers which is a definite lowering of previous standards. The complimentary bottles of water and snack biscuits were not refreshed at all, and the room itself now has two large areas of damp showing in the corners which should have been attended to and at least kept clean.
The hotel was busy during the weekend but the Tuesday am breakfast was attended service rather than the buffet which was great as the food was freshly prepared and served to us. A warning if you have a pet it's £20 per night now and segregation in the bar area for breakfast which is fine except for the walk through with your serving from the restaurant area before it gets cold.
The grounds are superb and the outside patio are excellent, plenty of car parking. It would be interesting to see if management comment.
BBee SabThe hotel was better than I expected. I booked it 30 min before arriving. I was early but was able to check in earlier than stated. I requested a double room ( solo traveller) and was give a spacious, clean room with plenty of natural light. Although basic and in need of modernisation I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was also great value for money. Location was perfect. Just off a busy road so ideal as a mid stop from motorway towards Oxfordshire/Cotswolds etc.
I had their set lunch menu which was delicious. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon so ate in their lovely courtyard garden. It was beautiful. I had no objection from staff for eating outside instead of their restaurant.
In fact all the staff were pleasant and helpful.
I took a walk around the area. It was safe and had wonderful views.
Breakfast was great. Cooked full English ,pastries, fruit, juices etc..
Definitely worth staying. It has charm and surrounded by fields and a good countryside vibe.
AAsiyah Yu LinThis hotel is just next to the Queen's Lane bus stop. Oxford Tube, and the mega bus stop there. Therefore it is very convenient to go out and into Oxford. It is close to the University as well.
The only inconvenience is that there are steps everywhere, from the entrance to the reception, and to my room. This probably a general problem with old buildings in UK. Otherwise no other complains about the service.
The bedding are very conformable - this is definitely a highlight.
