I stayed with my family for two days, and really enjoyed! Location wise it’s within walking distance from outlet, and there are also shuttle bus options every 30 mins. Room is spacious in Japan standard, nothing fancy but all practical. The highlight is waking up in the morning, open the curtain and see birds jumping around the trees. There is also a nice lake and plenty of grass for my daughter to walk around. Sakura trees are the silver lining. Overall, a good escape from hustle bustle

During the skiing trip in Hakuba, although I didn't drive myself and the transportation was a little inconvenient (the shuttle bus with fewer flights sometimes couldn't fully meet the needs), the hotel's front desk service made me feel extremely warm and thoughtful. Here, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to several front desk staff for their enthusiastic assistance and professional service. This was my first time to go skiing in Hakuba. I was unfamiliar with the local environment and did not have a car. In addition, I had to send my luggage back to the airport, so I encountered many challenges during the process. First of all, I would like to express my special thanks to an older male waiter who was kind and polite. He helped me with the delivery service. The process was very careful and made me feel at ease. Secondly, thanks to a short, slightly fat but smiling male waiter. After learning that I had been waiting in the lobby for two hours because the shuttle bus did not arrive on time, he tried his best to help me call a taxi to the ski resort. Although he was unsuccessful in the end, he understood my persistence and was always willing to help. When I got back to the hotel, as time was tight, he took the initiative to ask his supervisor and quickly helped arrange a hotel car to take me to the station so that I could catch the bus and JR train to Tokyo. At the same time, he also helped me pick up my stored luggage and assisted in moving it. He was more anxious than I was throughout the whole process, which deeply touched me. I am deeply sorry that I was unable to express my gratitude or give a tip in person as I was in a hurry at the time. Also, I would like to commend a young waitress. Although she was inexperienced, she was still careful and responsible, and tried her best to solve my problem, which made me feel her dedication and professionalism. During this trip, the sincerity and enthusiasm of these service staff provided me with great help. Even when faced with emergencies, they always put themselves in the guests' shoes and demonstrated an excellent service attitude. Next time I visit Hakuba, I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again because their service makes me feel at home. Thanks again! In addition, the staff who clean the rooms are also very professional, polite and responsible. As for the hotel facilities, cleanliness, decoration and the quality and style of the restaurant food, they are all great.

Excellent hotel in good location. Hotel warmly heated and comfortable despite very cold weather. Actually snowing during our stay. Enjoyed our stay. Multi-storey parking available off-site about 100m away for 1500yen, multiple entries/exits per day for fixed price. Shopping malls nearby

I heard a long time ago that Nagano is a ski resort, but I didn't expect there to be so many people, especially white people. There is a children's park inside, where you can rent sled toys. The room has a view of the ski resort, but there are too many people, and the hot spring is average.

Location is excellent. There's direct link bridge between the hotel and the Nagano station. So it's very easy to get to the train station with our luggage. We only stayed one night and Nagano is only our transit stop to other attractions. So we didn't manage to see much in Nagano. But we did notice that there are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Staffs are friendly but some don't speak much English.

Hotel Tangram provides a unforgettable experience with its exotic location next to a ski/snowboard facility, to have supreme services and the thing. I remember most except the skiing part is the onsen, the onsen provides a lovely arrange of tubs various sizes which consume of eg: cold bath tubs indoor warm tubs and an outdoor tub especially if you are lucky there might be snow raining in to the tub and you can witness a special surpirse. overall I believe coming here is a good choice and can guaranteer you a good stay.

The hotel is super conveniently located, just a two- or three-minute walk from JR Matsumoto Station, with a convenience store right downstairs – incredibly convenient. The room wasn't large; they really packed a lot in, including two beds, an extra mattress, two armchairs, a round table, and even a footstool. As a result, the space felt quite cramped. However, given how much was crammed in, I was really impressed that they managed to keep the room spotlessly clean. There's a large public bath, which was incredibly relaxing after a day of hiking. Dinner service at the restaurant was a bit short, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, likely reflecting fewer guests. They also offer complimentary late-night snacks after 9 PM. Overall, the hotel was great; the only drawback was the price, which felt a little steep.

A wonderful stay here. Refreshed and modern. We had the family room with two futons which was pretty spacious. The only downside was that the basin was located inside the bathroom, making it inconvenient for others to use it. The location was brilliant as it was only walking distance to Echoland with plenty of dining options. The breakfast buffet had a pretty good range though if some of the dishes could be different each day that would be even better. One thing to note that is that the car park is unsheltered. We stayed for the ski season in January and on one night there was heavy snow, so the next morning we had to spend some time shovelling the snow around our car before we could drive it out. I suspect this is pretty typical in Hakuba though. Overall we were very satisfied and would highly recommend this for a family ski trip.

Love the hotel and the room. The room is very clean and spacious with a balcony, and sunrise view. The toiletries are good too with comfy pajamas.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The furniture may be dated, but it retains the authenticity of the Japanese vibe. The room view faces a mountain. The hotel also provides complimentary snacks and alcohol btw 9am to 11pm. Suitable for people who drive a car. Recommended if you prefer a peaceful and calm location.
