"The room was decent, but the bed wasn't very comfortable. At several hotels on this trip, the mattresses were soft, but here, even the bed frame seemed soft, creaking when I turned over, which made for a restless night. Breakfast was quite varied, but the taste was average. The hotel's location is excellent, right outside the train station. If you're driving, you can register at the hotel machine for an 8.5% discount on parking at the train station's lot. The parking lot also has charging stations, but be aware that charging isn't based on the amount of electricity consumed; instead, you're charged based on how long your car stays in the charging area."

"The hotel boasts a great location, spacious and comfortable rooms, and a slightly older feel. There are many restaurants nearby, including the popular EGON restaurant, and the Bergen Fish Market is right across the street, making shopping convenient. The cable car is a 5-minute walk away, and Bergen train station is about a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel breakfast is plentiful, and if you prefer not to order outside, the hotel also offers complimentary dinner and afternoon tea. However, dinner is rather simple. We stayed at the hotel for four days, and one rainy day we ate dinner there, which was excellent."

"A Famous hotel location is excellent at center of the town so everything is nearby. A hotel is quite old not have some basic amenities like a hair dryer soap and shampoo (I stayed for 2 nights they made a room but they did not refill it). Breakfast was nice even I started before a time (not too much) and no staff at there but everything was prepared. Recommended this hotel for travelers using public transport."

"Cons: First, some of the front desk staff were very friendly, while others seemed impatient. There was often very loud music late at night nearby. One night at 4 AM, I was even woken up by booming bass that made the whole room vibrate – it was really over the top. No kettle in the room was very inconvenient. For a three-night stay, room cleaning required an application submitted on their website the night before. After cleaning, I found that only the towels were changed and the trash emptied; the floor wasn't cleaned at all. Pros: The breakfast was incredibly varied and plentiful. Transportation was fairly convenient."

"The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, right by Lake Voss. It's quiet and incredibly pleasant. If you're looking for a late-night snack, the Kiwi supermarket is about a 3-minute walk away (closes at 11 PM) where you can grab some Arctic sweet shrimp. The breakfast was good, and the sauna room, with its floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the snowy mountains and lake, is highly recommended for a relaxing session – it's so romantic! There's a shuffleboard in the lobby, which we also saw at our hotel in Geiranger later on, so it seems to be a popular indoor game in Scandinavia! 😄"

"The room is compact, but although it is small, it is well-equipped. The bed was also very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. You can even buy lunch boxes to pack your food, which is a great deal. A taxi from the airport costs 350 kronor, for reference. Highly recommended to friends who are in transit."

"They clearly don't have enough hair dryers in stock, and there's no strict return policy. I had to wait twenty minutes to get one, and even then, I had to pay a deposit for it. When they refunded the deposit, they did it in NOK, which ended up costing me money."

For a tourist without car, it is in excellent location, 7 minutes to railway station to/from airport on foot with luggage n railway ticket just cost nok44 , walking distance to cable station to Floyen mount or Bergenhus or Ferry pier and shops. I reserved a small room but got a room of good size with windows and sofa. There are supporting staff in reception always and they can help me for my enquiries. They can provide electrical kettle at request. Coffee is free in lobby. Breakfast is also good , simple with good choices. I will reserve it if I will visit Bergen again.

The hotel is about a 13-minute walk from the train station, and its location is excellent! Right across the street is the fish market, which is super convenient if you want to try some fresh local food. Plus, it's only a 10-minute walk to the Bryggen UNESCO World Heritage site! It's a bit pricey, but I'd definitely recommend this Scandic hotel chain.

This hotel has two different wings, an old and a new building. The better rooms are located in the new building with good beds. The old building has the lobby and restaurant which is more convenient. Will stay here again if boarding a cruise is my priority.

Weekday breakfast is only served until 9:30 AM, and by around 9:00 AM, items are not refilled. I stayed for 3 days and there was no variety, and the selection even decreased over time. The location isn't great; it takes about a 7-minute walk to reach the bus, and a single trip costs 50 NOK. The room has no fridge or hot water, and the desk is tiny, making it impossible to place anything on it. Aside from the friendly service, if you're only staying for 2 days, there's really no need to stay somewhere this far out...

About an 8-minute walk from Bergen Station, and a 15-20 minute walk to the Bryggen area, this hotel boasts a great location. As it's a self-check-in hotel, the price point is very reasonable, making it perfectly adequate if you just need a place to sleep. It's clean, and even though it's self-check-in, you still see hotel staff around. I used the porter service for a fjord tour, and my luggage was properly stored in the baggage room.

It is only a 2 minutes walk from Flåm station. Building of the hotel is beautiful. Our room has access to garden on first floor. Very peaceful and quiet stay. Room is big and clean. Breakfast is great with Norwegian spread. Staff are friendly. Swift checkin.

The old hotel has a vintage feel and a tranquil atmosphere, with many details and historical artworks. It's conveniently located right next to the station. The breakfast is plentiful and varied, and you can enjoy the view and watch people go by from the window.

Nice! They got me the highest floor which is great, and special type room, love it! Most of the things u need are provided except slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste. I think most rooms can see the pier view. The first night, some birds, maybe, or someone shooting fireworks at my window making loud noises and I can see some flash lights out the window. Scared die me. Food: free breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was great, dinner ok but love breakfast more. Trip.com says the bottle water are free, but in fact they will be charged. I didn’t notice that and took one, before check out, just saw the pricing list(ｰ ｰ;) Location: a bit tricky to find the ENTRANCE! When u see the building, TUR RIGHT! To the right u can find the real entrance( the front one is no longer in use). very convenient, located at the heart of Bergen, the Bergen museum is next to the hotel. The fifth photo is very close to the hotel. A few minutes walk to the mountain tram station. By the way, u can ask the front desk and get the key for accessing the roof top( third and fourth photo)

Staff at lobby was helpful when we needed thejr help. Housekeeping upon request but we did not need it over the 3d. Laundry room in hotel. Perfect for our family of 3!
