This hotel is really good. The food was good. The staff are accommodating. When we complained about the wifi they immediately fix it. The location was good too
Everything was smooth and perfect. Booked a room 11th-hour due to a close friends wedding and they were extremely hospitable! Clean room, lots of products to use, and safe access using keycards. My only issue is that the wifi goes in and out, which crazy enough, cuts off while in the room and mostly available at ground floor and my other issue is that the breakfast buffet involved becomes moot by 8am. They informed us it goes from 6am-10am but We arrived at 830am and almost everything is gone. You just got to help yourself with the egg omelette maker. Place was clean, check in and check out was smooth, and they take tap pay which makes everything convenient. Congrats to the newly weds CharI and Alfi!
Every service like all staff, location and foods was great even we stayed short time, we could relax once we got in room. Thank you so much, and we’ll book next time again if we have a chance to visit Davao!!
Compared to the older Red Planet Hotels this venue is 'recently refurbished' with customizable lighting. The 2 spotlights above the bed(s) are individually switched which is helpful if you want to read as your partner sleeps.
The location is amazing, less than a minute walk to the mall next door. Staff is generally friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable. Hotels also provide BOTH usb and usb-c charging ports, as well as universal plug sockets!
The negative thing is the lack of exhaust fan in the bathroom, causing a musty smell all day long, especially if the bathroom door is left closed. We booked two rooms. Our second room was also not done till around 4:30pm, and only after repeated enquiries at the front desk.
Everything is great, the pool is huge and clean, lifeguard always on duty and towels are always available. Room is modern and nice. The only thing I will complain is their food ( breakfast buffet) there is a lot of flies touching the fruits and deserts. We were setting right in the corner of the desert table and flies are everywhere.I even asked the employee that the flies touches desert and she said okay I will tell them.Person came and put a candle and thats it.I will suggest that pls assigned somebody to watch the fruits and deserts or any food thats open with out covers cause flies touches everywhere! Food is okay but not bad. The breakfast buffet for a children 7 to up is about 2,000 which is very pricey. I asked about it and one of them explain that how the rate is because my daughter is considered a extra person already and that 2k is included with extra bed so I asked the extra bed to put it out in our room.Still very expensive and no ala carte menu available for breakfast so you have no choice lol.
These are one of the flies that i cut off the legs beachse it was roaming in our table..
Hotel location is very ideal since it is less than 10mins to the airport. Hence, if you carry luggages, you need to climb a staircase. I will still comeback and stay at the hotel though for my next early morning trips..
Pros
- clean comfortable room
- near the cost line with view over the channel
- super polite staff
- great family pool area
- used to the place being full so it’s organised extremely well
- 24 hour room service
Cons
- no concierge to greet new guests getting out of taxis
- No one to show you to your room! Have to find your own way.
- loud banging doors waking guests very early in the morning due to neighbours from doors next to one another (see pictures)
- bird poo all over the windows (see pictures)
- breakfast buffet was just okay.. self service coffee and not great food.
A decent hotel but somewhat ruined by poor welcome and the early morning noise of other guests. Ask for a quiet rooms.
i stayed in another room but surely it was the same experience as everyone else i guess, accessible to everything, safe to stay and the amenities are excellent... just realized before i checked out, the drinks at the bar was not that expensive, maybe because it's local rate and we are in the philippines... idk, i'm just used to see skyrocket prices of everythinv when you dine in a 4/5 star hotels

LLizlie GenThe best I think at the center of davao. I always want to book this hotel but they are sold out most of the time. I like it coz they have netflix now. One thing i want them to improve is the sheets… the blankets are too thin for my liking. But overall, its the best!
AAnonymous UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The air conditioning was perfectly chilled, making my room a relaxing oasis. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. The hotel's big pool was a highlight, perfect for unwinding and soaking up the sun. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and rejuvenating stay!” 😊
AAlyaaa23It was our first to experience the Pearl Farm and it really exceed our expectation🥰 We had a great time staying at this resort the relaxation, the comfort of their food from breakfast to dinner with snacks and unli drinks, the peace given by the place we felt so well rested, and the staff were all nice and friendly especially to our toddler she really enjoys talking to every staffs she met. The best resort we've ever stayed and we couldn't stop talking how great the place and all people. Surely we will return and stay longer soon.
GGuest UserDisappointing Family Stay Despite Beautiful Resort
This was our first time staying at Dusit Thani Plantation, and unfortunately, it may also be our last. While the resort itself is beautiful, with excellent amenities and friendly staff, the overall service and experience were very disappointing.
Check-in: We had to wait an extra hour before our room was ready. This was very difficult as we were traveling with two babies who were already tired and needed to rest.
Food: Dining was one of the biggest letdowns. We expected high prices, but unfortunately, the quality did not match. During breakfast, the ham served was spoiled, yet instead of apologizing, the staff insisted that the smell was just “because of spices.” I pointed out it tasted sour, but the head chef defended it after tasting himself. Other food items were bland, and our T-bone steak, ordered medium well, came out completely well-done.
Room: The room itself was cozy, but our sleep was disturbed by noises coming from the ceiling at night—sounding like cats or rats.
Service: Staff were polite but very slow and unorganized. I had to ask multiple times for our bags to be delivered, and in the end, I had to walk all the way to reception to collect them myself. Transportation carts were too few to accommodate guests, and the overall check-in experience was the worst we’ve had—no welcome drinks were provided even though they were supposed to be included.
In summary, Dusit Thani Plantation offers a beautiful environment and facilities, but service, food quality, and guest handling fell far short of expectations. For the price paid, we expected a smooth and relaxing family getaway, but instead, it turned into a stressful experience.

GGuest UserIt was a good stay overall. We had to look for somewhere to stay because of the travel time going home and the work. Although the rates are cheap, I just wish there was a direct email/phone number to contact the facility directly. We ended up having to pay extra for checking in an hour earlier because we couldn’t reach out to anyone regarding that matter. We were only checked in for 8 hours in total.

BBai SatriaI love Accacia hotel. Price value, amenities, friendliness of the staffs, foods and all. Easy check in and check out. Huge lobby, more seats and the size of the room, extra pillow. But it just need to be thoroughly cleaned up (comfort room), some part of the lavatory had molds.
