Great hotel with understated elegance and a real touch of luxury. On my recent trip to Uzbekistan, I stayed in several different affordable hotels and guest houses, Hotel Caravan Serail was by far the best one. The cost per night was a little higher than the other places that I stayed but boy what a difference a few extra euros made! The room was super clean and elegant. The bed is very comfortable. Everything was very well maintained. The staff too were excellent, there was a slight mixup with my room initially, but it was dealt with very quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend this hotel as a great option for an affordable place to stay and if I ever visit Samarkand again, I would definitely book this hotel without hesitation. I only stayed one night but wish I had been longer. Oh, the breakfast is pretty good too!

The hotel is simply excellent! Excellent location in the new city on a huge well-kept area near the rowing canal, nearby is the historical monument ”Vechey Gorod”, in this place there is always a fresh breeze. Luxurious spacious rooms, I had a two-room suite with two bathrooms, in the room everything was thought out to the smallest detail! Lots of drinking water (6 bottles), coffee machine, kettle, refrigerator, excellent comfortable bed, wonderful skin care cosmetics from the Italian brand Salvador Ferragano,  smart home system and in general everything is just great! The buffet breakfasts are excellent, the staff is very attentive and friendly! If I decide to come to Samarkand again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

A particularly amazing hotel, the decoration taste is particularly good, breakfast is also very good. Although it is not close to the scenic spot, it is very cheap to take a taxi anyway, and it is very convenient to take a taxi to the scenic spot.

Very beautiful hotel, rich breakfast, beautiful cakes, in line with Chinese habits. There is an exhibition hall in front of the hotel, which is convenient for attending exhibitions and going to the conference center. There is a river behind, the night view is beautiful at night, and it is very relaxing to walk along the river.

Stayed for two consecutive days, the hotel is in the middle, no matter which attraction you go to. The hotel is very clean, the environment is super good, quiet and no noise. The service awareness is strong, the boss personally asked what time to eat breakfast? What to eat for breakfast, there is no taboo. . . For this exclusive service, this respect is a plus. The boss is very humble and asked me with a smile. Where did you go today? How do you feel? Haha, the emotional value provided is full, and the psychological pleasure really feels very good. I want to recommend it to my friends!

A wonderful hotel in all respects near the historical center of Samarkand. The hotel is small, but cozy, clean and well-maintained. There is an ATM in the lobby, at the reception you can request a city tour. It is located near the University Boulevard, 15-20 minutes walk to the main historical sights. There is a large summer veranda on the 3rd floor. The room was very clean, daily cleaning was carried out. Safe, mini-bar, toiletries, towels and bathrobes are available. In the mornings, chic breakfasts in the buffet format allow you to be full until the evening. In general, in terms of price / quality, this is the best hotel option for a short stay in Samarkand. We received only positive emotions from staying here.

Потрясающий отель. Уборка номеров каждый день. Вкусный азиатский завтрак шведский стол. Отзывчивый и доброжелательный персонал и хозяева. Удобная кровать. Подогрев пола в ванной комнате. Расположен идеально, с террасы открывается вид на Гур-Эмир. Чувствуешь себя как дома. Обязательно буду рекомендовать.

About 15 minutes walk to Registan Square. About 7 minutes to mini shop. It is located in a residential area in the back of the old town. The courtyard is comfortable and you can feel the wind in the terrace seat. Breakfast is served individually. It serves quite a lot of fruit. The room took off the shoes in the corridor. I stayed for 4 nights, but on the 3rd day there was cleaning and towel replacement. There is a toothbrush in the room but there is no cup. The air-conditioning is also good. Shower room, suitable hot water flow is good. Check out on the way back and send it to the train station for free by the car arranged by the owner. The owner of the inn, the eldest son, is friendly and speaks various English.

Excellent place to start. Very helpful and intelligent owner with university degree on art history and great colleciton of Samarqand related books, etc. Close to al-Maturidi Mausoleum, about 10min walk to either Registan or Shah-i Zinda Complex.
