Sueyama Shrine

Address: 2 Chome-5-1 Odaru, Arita, Nishimatsuura District, Saga 844-0004, Japan Getting there: You can have a short walk from Kami-Arita Station on the JR Sasebo Line. There is also a small free parking lot just down from the main entrance if you are driving. Highlights: The Sueyama Shrine is one of the shrine's most iconic feature. The shrine was built in the mid 1600s and is dedicated to one of the most influential of the Korean potters who introduced porcelain making to Arita. The shrine is unique for having both a torii gate and statues of komainu guardian dogs made out of porcelain. That is really an incredible architecture. 🤩 #passionpassport #japan #traveljapan
