Kyushu Ceramic Museum

Address: Otsu-3100-1 Toshaku, Arita, Nishimatsuura District, Saga 844-8585, Japan Highlights: I would say the Kyushu Ceramic Museum is the best museum in Arita. It provides a huge range of displays and information. The museum covers the history of ceramics on all of Kyushu, not just Arita. On an outer wall of the building are 25 large ceramic bells given to the museum by the German city of Meissen, the sister city of the town of Arita. One shortsides is that most of the information is provided in Japanese so might need some translation.
