#2024wish Just spent an amazing day at Castillo de Santa Catalina inCadizSpain! 🏰 The 5 EUR entrance fee offered historical treasures and panoramic views that I believe was worth every penny. 💸 Sitting on the shores of Atlantic, it was a fascinating mixture of military history and breathtaking coastal beauty. 🌊🏞️ It was like travelling back in time when wandering through the rooms and battlements which have been preserved well. Each cannon-lined wall and arrowslit window made evident the strategic importance of this fortress. 🕰️🏹 What undoubtedly stood out was the beautiful panorama of the city, ocean and Playa de la Victoria. An ideal place to grab the quintessence of Cadiz through one picture! 📸🌅 Just a few minutes away, the Caleta Beach beckoned with its golden sands and azure waters – an ideal way to unwind after absorbing history. 🏖️🌞 The Castillo de San Sebastián, just across the causeway beside it added some more layers of history to explore. Two castles in one day?
