Should you visit Cairns, Australia?🇦🇺

📍Cairns, Australia Our very first stop in Australia - Cairns. Upon arrival I was hit with a big culture shock - everywhere looks familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. The city, and perhaps Australia in general, feels like a merge between America and Britain. I didn’t anticipate how much I’d be walking in Australia, but the streets are so clean and so accessible, we ended up walking everywhere - especially the promenade / Cairns esplanade (which is such a beautiful walk). I also couldn’t resist checking out Cairns’ markets - Rusty’s market was fab & so was the night market. There are also so many Vietnamese and Thai food & coffee places that are great to try. Honestly, as a big fat foodie, my favourite thing so far has been just walking up and down the supermarket isles, looking at all the crazy snacks that Aussie’s have!
