Changsha | A Treasure of a Homestay - Zhimu Mountain Collection

| A Treasure of a Homestay - Zhimu Mountain Collection. I've been following this homestay for a long time, always attracted by its forest library, and this time I was invited by a friend to stay for a night. The experience was really fantastic. We all agree that it's the cleanest and most comfortable homestay we've ever stayed in! The public area has a touch of Southeast Asian style, and the swimming pool adds a bit of coolness to the summer~ Even though it was fully booked, it didn't feel crowded. The rooms are designed in a Japanese wabi-sabi style, our room wasn't big, but it had a sofa, a lounge chair, and the toilet and shower were separate, with the washbasin facing the mountain view. Every corner of the room was clean and tidy, without any cracks or dust, and the details were very well done. It was really cool to snuggle in bed and watch the projector at night! Upon check-in, you'll receive two cups of homemade drinks; we ordered a latte and passion fruit sparkling juice, both tasted great! There's butler service, always ready to respond to requests, but without imposing rules on guests, making one feel both casual and comfortable. The front desk and restaurant are simply wabi-sabi style, Breakfast is a complimentary buffet, with both Western and Chinese options. The egg and pork vermicelli made by the auntie was delicious, just like home! The forest library on the second floor is so poetic, integrating books and art into nature, making it especially relaxing! Right next to the homestay is a mountain, with dedicated stairs to walk up, surrounded by greenery, cicadas and birds chirping, really pleasant~ Halfway up the mountain, there's also a large terrace with tables and chairs, where you can have barbecues and large events. That day, by chance, we encountered students from the Normal University having an event there, very lively! Actually, there are many more interesting aspects of the homestay to explore, but unfortunately, we didn't have enough time. The surrounding area is also great for walking (there are many homestays and restaurants), with a beautiful and peaceful environment!
