It's the season for Gesang flowers to bloom again at Yanghu Wetland Park, and I'm back to take photos because it's truly beautiful! Whenever I see Gesang flowers, I always think of Tibet, the snowy plateau, the beautiful snow-capped mountains, the Potala Palace known as the "Jewel of the Roof of the World," and the faith of the Tibetan people... It seems this flower grows there, fearless of the cold, delicate but not flashy, and very resilient. In Tibet, the Gesang flower is the city flower of Lhasa. In Tibetan, "Gesang" means "good times" or "happiness," so the Gesang flower is also called the flower of happiness, embodying the Tibetan people's beautiful wishes for happiness and good fortune. Therefore, the Gesang flower holds a high place in the hearts of the Tibetan people and is regarded as a sacred flower symbolizing love and auspiciousness.
