"The Blue City" alias is only given to Chefchaouen

Morocco is known as the "European Garden", and Chefchaouen definitely deserves credit for it. Its colors are rich but not enchanting, a natural restraint of beauty. Its style is a bit like Santorini but more like a pure and naive fairy tale world. Its blues are varying in depth, naturally relaxed yet deliberately just right. I don't know if there is any corner in the world that deserves the nickname "Blue City" more than Chefchaouen. The houses here are built along the mountain slope, so don't book a room that is too high up, otherwise it will be tiring to carry luggage up the irregular steps. As Shefshawan is close to the sea, you can indulge in seafood. Remember to have a cup of coffee under the big tree in the central square at dusk.
