If you want to interact with seagulls, try to go in the morning when there are fewer people, and the seagulls are hungrier and will vie for attention. Most importantly, the seagulls haven't eaten in the morning and won't poop everywhere. 🚉Transportation strategy: My mother and I happened to pass by Dalian and stayed in a hotel near Xinghai Square for one night. Then we got up early to walk to the square to see the seagulls. The square is large and walking is convenient. You can also visit the Shell Museum on the way. 🌟Highlights: There are popular spots for interacting with seagulls all over the country. Although Xinghai Square is not the most photogenic or famous, for my mother and me, who were just passing by for a day of leisure travel, watching the seagulls and feeding them was enough to keep us happy all day. Xinghai Square is a leisure and entertainment square by the sea, with many splendid buildings nearby. From the square, you can see the cross-sea bridge, and there is a landmark sculpture at the entrance, built to commemorate the return of Hong Kong. Its unique shape and curvature also seem to make it a haven for skateboarders. The most interesting experience is undoubtedly interacting with the seagulls. There are flocks of seagulls here, fat and large, and very friendly. As long as you have the right posture, the seagulls can accurately catch the food while flying in the air. My mother and I fed two packs of hand-torn bread, and in the end, we didn't know whether it was the seagulls or us who were still longing for more. Feeding small animals brings genuine joy and satisfaction, and the sight of seagulls flying over the sea is truly healing. I highly recommend everyone to go to Xinghai Square and interact with the seagulls.
