In the magical 30°N latitude🌍, there is such a place, with ancient trees that have stood for thousands of years🌳, decayed wood covered with moss, streams flowing through the grass💧, horses grazing leisurely on the hillside🐴, a primeval forest full of the unknown🌲, unpredictable fog🌫, and an average summer temperature of 20°C🌤. This is the 'Chinese Bermuda' Heizhugou🏞. It mainly consists of two scenic areas: Marilengjiao and Fengchaoyan, so low-key that even their names are often overlooked😶. 📍Location: Heizhugou Scenic Area, Ebian Yi Autonomous County, Leshan City 💰Cost: Admission is 50 yuan💲, with a citizen discount from Monday to Thursday at 10 yuan, and from Friday to Sunday at 25 yuan. Free for children under 1.2 meters👶, half price for those between 1.2 and 1.5 meters; sightseeing car is 18 yuan🚎. 🗺Route: Ticket Office (Mountain Gate) — Visitor Center — Marilengjiao — Visitor Center — Fengchaoyan — Visitor Center There are two attractions in Heizhugou, Marilengjiao and Fengchaoyan, in two different directions, so after visiting the first attraction, you need to return to the Visitor Center before taking a bus to the second attraction🚌. Cuisine🍽: Once inside the scenic area, the only places to eat are the restaurant at the Midu Hotel🏨 and the one operated by the Forest Fire Station🔥. It's recommended to eat outside⛰ before entering. Breakfast at the hotel included a choice of noodles🍜, dumplings (frozen), or sweet rice balls (frozen). I ordered the sprout scraps and pork noodles, which had a homey taste, accompanied by a cup of soy milk🥛 and a traditional egg cake🥮. Dinner was at the fire station's restaurant, where the meat was not fresh and not very tasty🤔. Little piggy's lumpy meat, cooked and then stir-fried with seasoning🐷. The meat is pre-cooked and has a certain taste, which connoisseurs will understand😏. The barbecue at the entrance of the scenic area🍖 is worth a try. The middle stall's seasoning is quite sophisticated, with two types of chili peppers, adding Litsea and Zanthoxylum bungeanum🌶. ⏰Visiting Time: 【Marilengjiao】 The scenery is very beautiful, and the route inside the attraction is circular. It takes about 3 hours⏳ to walk the whole boardwalk, which has many viewing platforms and pavilions. It is highly recommended to complete the circuit; 【Fengchaoyan】 is more about mountain climbing, with average scenery but especially cool and fresh air🍃. We only walked for half an hour before turning back, and it would take about 3 hours⌛ to complete the whole route. ⚠Attention: 1. Check the weather in advance🌤. The last part of the road includes county roads and mountain paths, which may have falling rocks. It can be dangerous if it rains heavily🌧; 2. The temperature inside Heizhugou is about 25 degrees, but the ultraviolet rays are very strong, so be sure to protect yourself from the sun☂; 3. If you stay too long in Marilengjiao, you can also skip Fengchaoyan. Comparatively, Marilengjiao is more worth taking your time to explore and take photos📸; 4. There are monkeys🐒 in the Visitor Center parking lot. They are not as aggressive as those on Mount Emei and won't actively snatch things, but you should also not provoke them😉.
