A day healed by the green spring waters of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, a town in southern France 💚

Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, a town in southern France, is famous for its namesake spring, one of the largest in France, with an astonishing flow of water year-round. Upon entering the town, you'll immediately be captivated by the emerald green Sorgue River, its gently flowing water truly beautiful. A stroll along the riverbank is the most relaxing way to experience Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. On both sides are small shops, restaurants, and old stone houses with moss-covered waterwheels. Crossing a small bridge and walking towards the spring's source, the view opens up progressively. The town also has a paper-making workshop (Moulin à Papier) where you can watch the traditional water-powered papermaking process (unfortunately, it was closed when I visited). Fontaine-de-Vaucluse is small, but incredibly therapeutic.
