A 10~15 min walk from the subway station/ Fukuoka Castle remains, as its a bit further away, it's more quiet than the other parks. A good sakura hanami spot even though i went a bit early when the sakura were just starting to open. #GiveThanks

If you’re into flowers and want to escape all the cities hussle and bustle Nokonoshima is a good laid back trip. Once you drop off from the ferry, board the bus to Island Park directly as there are only two buses per hour. The flower park is very pretty. The animals in the petting zoo had water. They also had grass to eat and appeared to be well looked after. I had a thoroughly enjoyable day on the island. The flower beds were a sight! The playground was rustic but solicits absolute fun for the children (and adults too) especially the swing. There are also bunnies and other animals beside the playground which will certainly make the trip more delightful. It had a very nice view of the neighboring islets, perfect for those who just want to reflect. This is a great way to take a break from city life and be closer with nature. Highly recommended for the family! #givethanks #givethanks
