Palaise des Nations / Palace of Nations

If you’re planning to visit Geneva, a visit to the Palais des Nations (Palace of Nations) is a must-have. The Palais des Nations is the home of the United Nations Office at Geneva and is located in one of Geneva’s most known parks, the Ariana Park. It is one of the largest diplomatic conference centers globally, and around 8,000 meetings are organized each year. The Palais des Nations was built between 1929 and 1936 to serve as the headquarters of the League of Nations. Since 1946, it has served as the home of the United Nations Office at Geneva. The Palace is an outstanding testimony to twentieth-century architecture and is situated in the beautiful Ariana Park in Geneva, Switzerland. It's a remarkable example of Stripped Classicism architecture. The Palace of Nations presents humanity’s biggest aspiration and dream of being united as one and working together for a better world for all. It has been a symbol of international Geneva since its construction and has played a significant role in shaping global politics. Very special place to see and, if possible, to visit.
