Here are some travel & food recommendations for tourists visiting Fuzhou

Hi, if you're not very familiar with Fuzhou tourism, why not take a look at my share, which might provide you with some travel inspiration and help you plan some strategies. (For reference only, please judge for yourself) 1⃣ I recommend finding accommodation near Dongjiekou, as all the good food and fun are within easy reach there, or choose a place near a subway station, because Fuzhou's subway is free of charge recently, which is more cost-effective! 🏠 2⃣ Sanfang Qixiang is a must-visit attraction. Every city has such places, and although it can get crowded, if you're interested in history and culture, you can explore more. There are many famous residences or exhibition halls hidden in the lanes, which will surprise you! 🏘 3⃣ The Daming Food Street opposite Sanfang Qixiang is a good place for late-night snacks. It's not a must-visit, but it's nice for a casual stroll and snack. Night markets are also a good choice! 🍜 4⃣ As a local, I'd like to recommend some delicacies to you: 👉🏻🍜 Lao Hua: Similar to a clear soup version of hot pot, Fuzhou people usually have it for breakfast. I recommend trying the Arhat meat, marrow meat (can be mixed or put in the soup), fried dough sticks (soaked in the soup is even more delicious), and any other side dishes you like. (⚠Many people who come to Fujian don't know about 'shrimp oil', you can try dipping Lao Hua in shrimp oil, it's quite common here, if you don't like it, try garlic sauce) 👉🏻🍥 Fish balls and meat swallows: Many people go to the shop in Sanfang Qixiang to eat, but I personally prefer the fish balls from street stalls, which are the authentic taste. However, it depends on your luck, as they are not so common now. 👉🏻🍗 Recently, many people have been checking in at Cui Sauce Fried Chicken, which is recognized by local young people! You must try the fried chicken with the flavor of 'Lang Wei Xian'! At least I haven't tasted such deliciousness in other cities when traveling. 👉🏻🍡 Taro paste: I think Fuzhou's taro paste is the most delicious. You can try the 'No Teeth Uncle Peanut Soup' set or 'Ju Chun Yuan's taro paste, and also look for shops that sell taro crispy duck! I really like it! 👉🏻 Tang Mo Tea Xi: This is unique to our area. If you are a friend from outside, I would recommend you try 'Kai Xin', 'Fu Su', 'Qing Yan', which are more distinctive. 'Mu Li Fu' and the other two flavors, many people feel are not much different from 'Cha Yan' and 'Ba Wang', so there's no need to specifically check in, just try the teas you can't usually drink. 👉🏻☕ Coffee/Wine Bars/Tea Houses: Fuzhou is a very comfortable city, with most of the tea supply also in Fujian, and those cafes where you can drink coffee during the day and wine at night.
