Xuandu Temple of Nanyue

Xuandu Temple is a famous Taoist temple in Hengshan, and the location of the Hunan Taoist Association. Xuandu Temple is located halfway up Nanyue, originally a Buddhist temple named Xiyun Temple built in the Southern Qi Dynasty, and was rebuilt into a Taoist temple by Taoist Tan Jiaoqing during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty.
